Food was OK, but at this price range I expect much better. I had the salmon. The fish itself was seasoned and cooked nicely. The arugula was not dressed, and the grits were quite plain. Server did not seem to want to be there. At a lower price point, I would be satisfied. Seems like a midtier spot masquerading as fine dining.

I love that they alerted me that we could come in early for my reservation! The food was fantastic. We had the short ribs and the salmon and a couple cocktails...but I don't recall which ones.? The vibe with all the lovely scenes painted in the walls was unique. Lovely service.

Overpriced and just not very well cooked food: the trout tasted like nothing but pepper, the carrots in the buffalo short rib were undercooked, the ravioli was

Service was the best part of the experience. The water girl and waitress were on point. The food was meh and overpriced. $36 for 5 raviolis and one was overcooked. Not to mention ordered 2 cocktails and asked for blue cheese olives…they charged us $3.00 for the olive per cocktail….come on! If the food was as good as the service I’d overlook the price.

Another great PC restaurant. We had the Salmon and Duck. We both like rare and while they said it salmon would be medium rare the middle was perfectly pink and very juicy. The duck was cooked pink in the middle as well which was perfect for us. The mini sweat cornbread muffins are awesome too! I gave a 4 because of the pairings. The grits with salmon are fine. And the Mac and cheese with duck was ok, very light cheese sauce which is fine but not flavorful. We would come again. Excellent service and atmosphere.

Nice quiet spot, really friendly wait staff. Food was slightly disappointing; the loaded potato chips were tasty, but the excessive blue cheese made them a bit salty. Main courses approached bland. Would go back for the appetizers and drinks only.

I always love this place. I’ve gotten multiple items on the menu and they are great. I especially love the braised short ribs. The cocktails are also great.

I really like this place. It's great comfort food. The meatloaf is unlike any other I have had and it's really good, but filling. Two people could share that plate.

Staff was amazing and the restaurant is cozy and welcoming! Salmon was great, mahi mahi was even better, and the chicken fried chicken was surprisingly impressive. We went with some friends and shared all of our plates; you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Try the bread pudding, it’s worth it!

Malory was our server and was absolutely lovely. The food was fantastic, and Malory made sure that our visit was spectacular. I love when a server makes us feel warm and welcome. Thank you Malory and thank you Purple Sage!!

Had an awful experience at the beginning of our 10 day vacation. Stopped in Park City on our way to visit many National Parks. Had an early dinner reservation. Food was good. Service was slow for amount of staff and diners. At the end of the meal, our party split the bill with two cards. When we signed and left a generous tip, neither of us noticed that the waitress did not return our cards with the receipts. It was not until the next morning (Sunday) while checking out of our hotel in Salt Lake City that we noticed we were missing our cards. Unfortunately, the restaurant did not open again until Monday at 5:30PM. None of our numerous calls were ever returned. After days of trying to contact someone, we did reach the hostess who was unapologetic! I asked to for the owner or manager to call me back. Crickets. I sent an email. Crickets. Shocked that at a resort town, they could be so careless and have no regard for customer service. The loss of the cards at the beginning of the vacation was a huge inconvenience. Terrible experience, terrible employees and management !

Purple Sage is class. Special occasions, date night, birthdays. The food is incredible, every bite of every dish to die for- even their appetizer corn bread! Our waitress was fantastic and our waters were always topped off. The only trouble we ran into was while making reservations online, and since they don’t open until 5:30, you can’t call during the day to make a reservation. So keep that in mind!

We had friends and others tell us we must try this place. We were excited and set our expectations high. We were not disappointed. A rustic building and eclectic decor, A casual greeting, a great waitress ( Elle ) great corn bread and butter. Chardonnay and a super red with the trout and meat loaf ( not your mothers meatloaf) I had the crusted trout served over golden purée potatoes and grilled carrots. I usually do not remember ( getting old) but this meal was special. Service, ambiance and food. WOW

Had reservations for 5:30pm. Walked in, only 3 people eating. Looked like a ghost town. That was our first clue. Looked at the menu and the prices were 20% higher then what reflects on the website. Clue #2, we left. All other restaurants close by we’re nearly full. Final clue

Very pretty place, and it has such a mystic vibe. Menu was southern - with a hint of Mexican influence.. maybe I wasn’t in the mood.. but I ordered a duck, it was dry, and it came with Mac and cheese.. very basic. No sauce or anything to indulge in. Their desserts had pudding, and bread pudding on the menu. So basic.
