I've lived in Utah Valley for 6 years, just visited Star Saloon for the first time on a laid back date. It is very much your quintessential karaoke-and-pool-tables dive--in the best way possible..but also very surprising for Utah Valley!The bartenders were attentive, fun, and sweet as could be, and extremely efficient. Great bar, great atmosphere. Drinks are super affordable and won't break the bank. All the bartenders are very helpful and quick with the drinks. The woman I go with feel comfortable and is an awesome place to play pool.

This is a family that welcomes everyone. There are surprises at the people you meet in what can only be called a second home. Even as someone who doesn’t drink, it didn’t matter at all. And in my birthday, in complete shock, the bar sang me happy birthday and had got cupcakes. Only one person knew it was my birthday. That level of acceptance and friendship is near impossible to find anywhere else.
