Sumo Sushi is legit awesome! ? The sushi there is so fresh, you can practically taste the ocean. And let me tell you, their plate sizes are perfect, not too little that you're still starving, and not too much that you feel like a sumo wrestler after eating. It's just right! If you're a sushi lover like me, you gotta check this place out. You won't be disappointed! ??

My husband and I are locals (not students) and we love to come here. This is our go-to place for sushi. The prices are reasonable and the rolls are amazing. Our favorite rolls are the Fuzzy Wuzzy, OMG, Vegas, Dragonfly and Rainbow (In that order.) The BOGO offer is great. The service is always fast and friendly.

I ordered takeout and it was half the size than pictured. $10 for 5 pieces of sushi was not what I thought I was getting… the staff and food were really great! I just felt a little frustrated that I didn’t get as much as I expected. It was so good I wanted more!

My husband and I had been going here for a long time and always loved it. I decided to take my friend here for her birthday and it started out fine. We got our food within the first 10 minutes and then never had anyone check on us again. We sat there for an hour until the man whom I assume is the owner, came over and asked if we needed anything. I responded and asked for a box, he went to go grab it and my friend realized she needed one as well, once he came back my friend asked very nicely if she could get a box as well. He sat there with a very condescending grin and looked at her and said “anything else your highness?” And walked away. At this point I was pretty upset but didn’t say anything. When he came back my friend asked for the check and AGAIN he stood there and smiled for about 30 seconds and said “anything else your highness, are you sure there is nothing else I can get for you your highness” and kept repeating it over and over again. I was pretty disgusted with them and will not be returning.

We went here last Christmas Eve and worried that there would be a long wait even with Reservations. They got us right in. The food was great and the chef, and service was amazing. I would highly recommend this place.

This place used to be good. We used to come here pretty regularly for years. But the quality and portions have gone way down. The rolls are about half the size they used to be and they don’t taste fresh anymore. Pretty disappointed with how bad it’s gotten.
We have been going here for years on special occasions. The last time we went was pretty bad, so it took us about a year to go back again. My husband loves the taste of the food. It was his favorite place, but this time will be the last. We will never go back. They brought 3 different bills and kept increasing the bill. There was an 18% gratuity on our bill, and a $15 miscellaneous item we didn't order. Both my husband and son got sick and still haven't started feeling better a day later. It's way more expensive. Ridiculously expensive. Our bill was double than when we eat at Happy Sumo or the Olive Garden. WAY MORE! My husband didn't want me to post this, but he had to go to work sick and felt let down and cheated out of his hard earned money, so I'm not letting it go. Never again! Don't go here!

Good sushi with a large variety. They have the standard sushi rolls but some more unique ones as well. The jalapeño popper roll is my favorite. The prices are pretty good too!

Food was good but they overcharged on our bill and charged everything as extras. So $25 for the hibatchi, $4 for a basic side of noodles/rice, and then a bother $3/drink.So a comparable meal anywhere else would be at least a half of what this meal would be worth. Then they auto charged a 20% tip for our 4 person group. Feeling 4 kids and myself (and I had water) and walked out with a $160 bill.Good was great, but that price is insane. I’ll be finding elsewhere for my hibatchi needs Im the future.
