My boyfriend and I have come here twice for our anniversary now, and the food is always top notch, the servers are very attentive and friendly, and we always get a cheesecake and gift from the chef on the house since we’re celebrating something special. The ingredients are always very fresh and delicious. They also have a full bar with some great mixed drinks as well. It’s always clean, beautiful, and is a great place for fancy or casual dining at a higher price and quality. The bruschetta was also extremely delicious, my mango smoothie, the tenderloins, the salmon, and the shrimp scampi. The petite wedge salad was great as well, definitely ask the server for their recommendations. Thanks for all the great service and helping our day to be special!
Ordered a medium rare steak (wagyu) and it came back medium well. I normally wouldn't say something but I did this time. Second steak came back medium to medium well. I kept the second one, but it had no flavor, and required significant amounts of salt to just be tolerable to eat. I won't go back!

I'm very sad. I have frequented La Jolla Groves for many years, yet this last week was a very big disappointment. We had a party of 9 very influential leaders and of course, I wanted them to experience this restaurant. We waited for over an hour and a half to receive all our entrees. This made us late for a critical appointment. The surprising thing was there was only one other table of two people in the whole restaurant. I asked the manager to please give me a call, but they failed to show any interest. I didn't plan to be negative, but try to understand what has happened since I was here just a few months ago. The food was also below par from what I have experienced in over 20 visits. Help me please understand why the quality of our experience was so poor!?

Had an amazing time at La Jolla for my anniversary dinner. Food was amazing (best chicken ive ever had), Italian sodas were delicious. And the complimentary anniversary treat was very much appreciated and topped off the experience. The staff was super friendly and seemed enthusiastic to help in anyway.

The food is very overpriced for what it is, and it is not very good. The service was decent, but drinks were slow to come (after dinner was served). The ambiance is fine, all the tables are quite close together in a large open room. All-in-all not a great experience. We will not go back.

But what I was most impressed about was that Ashley was extremely knowledgeable! There was not a single question I asked about the menu or preparation, etc. that she did not have an answer to. What an asset to the restaurant!!!! I thoroughly enjoy a server that knows the menu through and through - as they should - being a part of the staff. She was a complete delight! as well as Ian who was training with her. The "moosh boosh" or "mouth amuser" (a small complimentary appetizer offered from the chef) was the perfect starter and prepared our pallet for all the delicious flavors that were in store! Everything was so tasty and cooked to perfection! The bruschetta, the mushroom bisque, the salads, the halibut. Huge thanks to Megan King. We will continue to patron this place 100%!

Even better than I remember! They’ve really gone above and beyond. The staff is friendly, the food is absolutely delicious, and their flavored lemonades are a must. They even brought us cute and tasty little “palate cleansers”. They were cheese. Cheese is always a plus in my book. Definitely worth a visit!

This place is AMAZING! My husband and I were doing a challenge to try somewhere new to us and we came across this place. When we walked in the staff were friendly and professional. Our waitress, Kaitlynn, was so attentive to our needs and made the whole new experience one we will forever remember.The food was immaculate and cooked just right. I got the tenderloin medallions and my husband got the salmon fillet. Each dish was delicious and we ate every bite. Then we ended with the vanilla bean cheesecake which was so divine.Overall, we will definitely be back and look forward to our next visit!
