Pretty mediocre experience. It took over an hour after ordering To get our meals, which were room temperature. Beverages, other than water, were served after most everyone at our table had finished eating. Our waters were refilled not once. Specialty drinks were flavorless, they were more like colored water. Would not recommend unless you are looking to waste a few hours.

I used to LOVE this place, but they really cut their portion size down to where it’s actually pretty small.

-Food: Bland, not authentic at all. The rice was terrible, it tasted like it came from a plastic bag that you can put in the microwave. The beans, no flavor. Chips, most generic, not flavor either. “Salsa” for the chips, bad. Not spices. I got the green sauce burrito (which I understand it is the less authentic Mexican food) but I wanted to try it. I give it a 1/5 As a Mexican I felt super disappointed for the food and service. I was expecting that the rice would at least taste authentic. The place is very pretty inside, however the food we got, left us with a bad taste all night. For two burritos and a soda we paid: $38. ? and we did not even like it.

We went for my son’s birthday party so I called a few days in advance to make a reservation for 10 people. When we got there, they weren’t prepared (even though we showed up right at our reservation time and they weren’t busy) and it took about 15 minutes to get three tables pushed together. Again, it wasn’t busy. There were MAYBE 5 other tables in the whole place that had people sitting at them? Service was awful, we didn’t get our food until an hour after we got seated. We waited at least 15 minutes before we got any drinks. My brother-in-law’s food was burnt. There were two tables around us that were completely covered in dishes that never got cleared. I was shocked at how horrible the service was, especially for it not being busy at all. We definitely will not be back and will not be recommending it.

Los Hermanos’ return to Provo was something that brought a lot of excitement to the community but is ending up in a lot of disappointment. I was sat directly under a plant hanging on the ceiling in a weird corner table off to the side of the restaurant. Our server greeted us by directly asking if we were ready to order. We asked for a couple horchatas and they came out in the tiniest cups I’ve ever seen with like 90% ice. Once we asked for straws, and asked for napkins, we also had to ask for water cups, and those came out bigger than our horchatas, we were immediately in for a clue that this was gonna be a bad time. We got a torta, and a pork Chile verde plate which was ok. When our food came out the server didn’t bother to mention that this plate was very hot, and when my partner reached over to touch my hand, she burned her finger on the plate. The server apologized, and even said “I get it I just got burnt in the kitchen too” but like nothing was done to help. My girlfriend took her horchata glass with mostly ice and put it on her finger, but the server didn’t offer anything to help the situation, a discount or a dessert or anything. We felt extremely rushed, and like our server was going 100 miles per hour. She only ever had one additional table in her section while serving us, and honestly this was just an awful experience. Not to mention nobody even bothered to ask why we were there… it was to celebrate the month of our birthdays since I’ll be on a work trip during my birthday. So thanks guys.Edit. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention the book I got the check in was DISGUSTING. Oil and crumbs all over it.

This place is ridiculously overpriced and you'll find more authenticity (and flavor) inside a Crunchwrap Supreme.I have no idea how this place is still in business there are much better (and cheaper) places to eat similar cuisine literally within walking distance of Los Hermanos.Avoid at all costs. It's just oily slop drenched in cheese.Parking: Good luck!

I don't think I've ever been so disappointed in my dining experience enough to share my two cents on it. This makes Los Hermanos coming back to Provo so sad. We were sat directly underneath a plant. The salsa tasted like it came out of a gallon jug. The torta I had was so small for 12 dollars. The horchata I got was halfway filled with nugget ice and in a smaller cup than my own water cup. As I reached over to grab my partners hand, I burned my thumb on the edge of a super hot plate. No reparations were even attempted at the fact i was injured. The rice and beans my partner ate here were very bland. I could've saved my money and make that at home. I wouldn't recommend this to my worst enemy. The server was going a million miles a second and made the experience null.

First time at the newest Provo location. Food was good. Service honestly made the experience unenjoyable. Our drinks were topped off with something other than water. Couldn’t tell what had come from the pitcher, but that was very concerning. Our waiter consistently forgot our orders and then our checks were brought out literally 5 minutes into eating our food. The staff seemed to be frantically cleaning all the tables around us. I thought they might be closing, but it was only 8:40 on a Friday night. (Closing time 10). There seemed to be a big party waiting to be seated as I hurried out, but it turns out it was just the staff. Better training/service would bring this place back to what it was. For now, I think I’ll go elsewhere.

Went here because I heard good things about this place YEARS ago. Walking in, the Gen Z hostesses were too afraid to look us in the eyes. They awkwardly walked us back to an open area and still not looking at us, said “where do you want to sit?” What?! Tons of dirty tables, one with a plant hanging so far down a normal person couldn’t sit under it. Common sense people?!Ordered a side of guac that was $9 and received a tiny scoop. Chips were very obviously store bought. Luckily the waitress charged it to an addition at the end. Ordered fajitas for 1 for $16 and got WAY less than half a chicken breast cut into the tiniest pieces to make it look like there was more. I could barely fit 2 tiny tortillas full with all the chicken. It was mostly just onions. Chicken had NO flavor. Luckily our waitress was kind. Overall TERRIBLE experience. Will never be back. This place is not going to survive. I’m all for local food but YIKES! They had a ton of staff members standing around doing nothing at 6:30pm and hardly anyone dining. Please train the people up front to interact normally. So awkward. The quality and quantity of food does not justify the prices.

The new location is spacious and nice, however the service was just ok. Our waitress although nice was not attentive and eating her dinner in between waiting on us. Chips still the same old, yucky chips. Back in the day they used to make homemade chips. Salsa is decent. Fajitas were really good but portion sizes of rice and beans were smaller. Improve service, chips, rice and beans. I miss the old atmosphere of the Provo locations.

The Provo institution that is Los Hermanos is back in its rightful place at University and Center Street! Our server, Kayden K, was a rock star! I’d give him 5+ stars. Food was good. Kitchen was verrrry slow, presumably because it was their first week open at this location, but Kayden more than made up for it. Very personable and did a great job getting out ahead of the likely frustration that would have come from the slow kitchen. Will give them another try and hopefully the kitchen glitches will have been worked out. Will ask for Kayden’s section for sure.

I’ve been here several times and every time I’ve waited well over an hour for my food. Never been to a slower restaurant in my life.
