Would give it 0 stars if I could. The Provo location is an absolute dump. The pizza is disgusting and the water is a clear yellow. Everything has been sitting out for hAs a college student I don't have high expectations, but this place was a huge waste of money. If you want pizza or desert go anywhere else.

The quality is definitely not what you are coming to pizza pie cafe for, you are here simply for quantity and for that I suggest not coming earlier than the dinner rush, before lunch the options are limited. In an effort to not have large amounts of waste single pizzas are split into two and served as halfs being 6 slices maximum of each with a kitchen backed up and staffed by a single employee, you will be given your cup at the register and then ultimately left to figure out everything on your own, not such a difficult task unless you want pasta, then expect a wait.I was initially going to get some pasta but after seeing my friend wait for about 5 minutes for someone to even acknowledge he was there I decided my time would be better spent at the salad bar.Speaking of the salad bar it had a very conservatively stocked assortment of spring salad mix and romaine leaves. A few topping options that were questionably fresh(especially the canned Mandarin oranges that tasted slightly of fermentation), again though here for quantity not quality.Over all I will give this location 4 stars because after working in restaurants I understand the pain of needing to be short staffed to keep the doors open but there are still problems that can and should be resolved.

Pizza, salad, pasta buffet. It's all decent though perhaps nothing special. Weekends are crowded. And the restaurant closes at 9pm, so not a late bite place. It's a good place for a bunch of hungry kids though. Sufficient variety to please a crowd, and the all-you-can-eat model means you can go back for your favorites. There were a lot of families eating there.

The pizza tastes worst than frozen pizzas, in my opinion. The slices are thin so I only had 2 slices but everyone else in my group loved it and got several pieces. The napkin dispensers are in places that are a little hard to find. They are black and in dark areas. The place is not well-lit either.Even though the restaurant looks clean in general, it didn't give me that vibe...probably because it is old.The good thing is friendly and helpful staff and you can eat lots for less, if you like enjoying large portions. They also have some berry pizza and other sweet fruity pie-like pizzas. I didn't try them but they might be good.Kid-friendliness: They have a child price around $4ish and it's all they can eat.

I've been eating at this Pizza Pie since it opened, and I gotta say that either my standards have raised in ~10 years or the quality has really gone downhill. The past couple times Ive been here the surfaces feel sticky and gross, cutlery is dirty, bathrooms are dirty and covered in splashed water, and I think I even prefer a Little Caesar's pizza to theirs. Salads are still decent, but the pineapple had gone rancid. I used to love taking dates here in high school, but now I'll only come back if I have coupons for a cheap meal. It has a totally different feel than it used to, like the apathy of the staff is palpable. I'm disappointed.Kid-friendliness: They have (sticky) high chairs available for use.

Came one hour before closing and were treated like royalty. We beat a late dinner rush, got fresh pizzas including a gluten free pizza and it tasted fresh and delicious! The pasta sauces were all fresh and the employees were very nice, one in particular names Weston- he complimented on our baby eating table foods for the first time and was overall sweet and asked if we needed anything. We will be back for this location only.

It's a family-friendly pizza buffet. You get what you pay for. Pizza is cheap and plentiful but bland. Pasta, salad, and dessert offerings too, but also not amazing. The employees stay busy but the counters and salad bar were still a bit messy. The kids don't notice anyway, and they're happy and fed. Mission accomplished.

Not gourmet, but the kids loved it! It is about what you would expect. Great for teenage boys with high metabolism. The crust is not as bad as I was expecting; it has the right amount of salt, but it's not very fluffy or chewy. The desert pizzas are very sweet. If you were blindfolded you probably couldn't guess what flavors they were. Lots of fun. About worth the price.

Dessert pizzas are great!! I love the yummy food here. They have all kinds of crazy pizzas like potato pizza, Oreo pizza, sugar cookie pizza, and all the regular favorites. Gluten free cauliflower crusts available for $3 extra and you get the whole pizza. They also have a decent salad bar

I really wish I could give Pizza Pie Cafe a better review because it used to be a great place but it has really gone downhill in the past few years. I might consider it a 2 star just for nostalgia sake... Anyway, there is never any pizza available to eat. I also have to wait for them to bring a new pizza out, only for it to be gone within a few minutes. They seemed to have changed the recipe for a few pizzas making them worse, for example the firehouse or fireman pizza. The plates and utensils are all dirty... that is just disgusting. In the bathroom, one sink didn't work while the other sink was clogged internally and would fill up before I could finish washing my hands. The soap smelled like a compost pile, I regretted washing my hands with that soap; it was so bad it made me not want to eat any food afterwards.I haven't been to Pizza Pie Cafe for a while because I was living out of town for the past few years. It must have gone under new management or maybe it is following the trend of most restaurants in the last couple years with covid and no one wanting to work and just destroying its own reputation. Whatever it is, I don't think I will be coming back to Pizza Pie Cafe which is a real shame because it used to be a great place to eat.

Overall: I was very disappointed and would not recommend it to those who need to follow a gluten free diet.I ordered a gluten free pizza (classic pepperoni) and also paid for the buffet because I was told there was gluten free pasta available. The pizza was a thin crust with so little sauce I could hardly taste it. (See pictures)The salad area was as dangerous for someone with food restrictions as you would expect. I avoided the salad dressing with the crouton obviously floating in it.The pasta bar was unattended for most of the time I was there. I saw someone manning it as I was about to leave so I asked about the gluten free pasta. The gluten free pasta is cooked separately from the rest of the pastas. All the sauces are self-serve, so there is a good chance of contamination through ladle-to-pasta contact. Also from looking online I'm fairly certain not all the sauces are gluten free but there was no labeling at the restaurant itself.I went with my family during lunch. They were short staffed and there were "we're hiring" signs around. Perhaps that was why things were particularly slow? It took over 30 minutes for my gluten free pizza to be brought to our table after if ordered it. My kids who don't need to eat gluten free enjoyed the buffet and were basically done eating by that point.

I was very excited to be coming today after many years of not coming as this was one of my favorite cheap places to eat at in my early twenties. Boy was I disappointed! We came in with my husband and baby on a Thursday at 7pm. There were less than 20 people in the restaurant yet we couldn’t find a single clean table. I had to ask someone to wipe one for me. Some of the pizza looked old and like it had been sitting there for a while. The salad bar choices got significantly smaller and the salad looked old. The whole place was so dirty that I couldn’t stand sitting there for long. We ate in about 30 minutes and left. During the whole time we were there not one table was picked up and cleaned. I can’t even describe how nasty the floors looked. The area on the floor behind the pizza bar was full of salad that employees kept walking on top off and no one would sweep! So so so so disappointed and disgusted! Management please train your employees to quit standing around the bar and get out to clean.

I went here for a grandson's birthday party. As a person on a seriously limited diet, I don't usually go out to eat. I was pleasantly surprised to find a salad bar with a nice selection of ingredients. I had a piece of pizza because of peer pressure.. Yeah-peer pressure-and enjoyed it.Grandson reported the Oreo pizza was great, but that's a line I wouldn't cross. Overall this was a nice place to eat and well worth the money.

In the category of cheap buffets, the PPC is a shining 5 star. It’s the most bang for your buck restaurant that I know of. It’s CHEAP, and the fresh pizza SO good! Their dessert pizzas feel like they should be illegal they are so good!Local pro tip: Don’t get it if it’s not fresh, It’s the best when it’s fresh.
