Pretty place. We tasted the chocolates, they were good but nothing special. Scones were dry with not much flavor. The balsamics however, were delicious on the ice cream and on the chocolate mousse dessert. Body Cherry balsamic to take home , which was $40!

The atmosphere is a 5 for sure, but everything else was lacking in my opinion. I live in St George and was told I needed to try this place out! I was heading back home, so I loaded up on over $100+ worth of different types of “milk chocolate” bars! Unfortunately, what they consider “milk chocolate” tastes like dark chocolate to me. I had sampled a piece from each bar I bought, hoping that the next would be like true milk chocolate - as the gal who helped me steered me towards. I was seriously so disappointed, especially since I spent so much! So I called them right away and told them my issue. The gal that answered the phone told me no problem, to just bring the chocolates back in for a refund. So, the next weekend, I traveled back up north and brought the chocolates with me to return them. The girls working that day wouldn’t honor a refund, as I was previously told they would, because the chocolates had been opened. I was more bothered by the disconnect of information they were giving to me! Not only did I waste a $100+ in lousy “milk chocolate” bars, that taste more like dark chocolate, but I wasted time in coming in again and the frustration of not getting my money back. They did give me a recipe to make hot cocoa with the remainder of the chocolate I was forced to keep or throw away. Gee thanks, that makes me feel better (not). Highly unimpressed with Taste and the chocolate they sell. On top of that, the meal I bought for lunch the first time I went in was sub par at best. For as darling as it looks inside, everything else was not! I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone that likes great food and real milk chocolate.

#Taste117 in Provo, Utah is a wonderful artisanal curated marketplace and food tasting lounge. They provide tastings and tea service. We went for lunch. We started with a pot of #LadyGreyTea that had lovely citrus notes. And #EnglishScones served with #Mascarpone and #StrawberryPreserves we also enjoyed a #MexicanHotChocolate made with in house chocolate and lovely cinnamon. We ordered the house made #TomatoBasilSoup with lovely tomato flavor and fresh basil. The soup is Served with an ample portion of #Focaccia We also enjoyed the #CroqueMonsieur Prosciutto ham, bechamel sauce, gruyere, fired in the oven. Baked to melty perfection. Accompanied by a fresh green side salad, and a tasty potato salad. We ended the meal with the house special #SippingChocolate it is rich and tasty, served with whipped cream. The drink becomes thicker as it cools almost becoming a tasty thick mousse. The vibe is relaxed but fun. Taste offers A unique experience in Provo. #AfternoonTea
