Have never tried Fortune Cookie before. My girlfriend and I were craving Chinese so we decided to give it a try. We just wanted take out. Didn't feel like a sit down. So my review goes based off that.First off, they forgot the pot stickers and one of my sides of rice. The first thing I tasted was the Pon Pon chicken which began as redeeming but the sauce quickly became overpowering and was quite earthy. After that was the Lo Mein which was mediocre at best. Wasn't the worst but it was just bland. NOW I will tell you the worst one. The crispy beef...It seriously tasted like overbaked bread rolled in sweetener. No meat whatsoever, and it stunk...It honestly smells quite burnt. So all in all I didn't get all that I payed for, and the food was SERIOUSLY lackluster. I'd say its not worth spending on this place. I'd rather eat at Panda which is really saying something...Since I just got take out I will only be rating on the food and service. Which gets a 1 and a 3. They were quite nice but losing out on food always sucks. And the food just really didn't have any redeeming qualities.

We were in on Sunday afternoon, and we had a great experience. We had Orange Chicken and Kung Pao Chicken with noodles. The noodles were way better than most competitors, and both meals were great! My partner likes her Kung Pao a little spicier, and our awesome server informed us that they'd be happy to give it a custom kick anytime. Just ask. That's our kind of service. The portions were generous, and the price was very reasonable. We'll definitely be back.

This is our second time eating here. We went about a year ago and we remembered loving it. We don't live too close to this location so it took us a while to get back. Ordered take out. Restaurant was busy inside. I will point out some of the good points before I jump into the rest. We ordered large wonton soup, miso soup, egg drop soup, sweet and sour pork, Lo mein, crispy beef, Orange chicken, fried rice and an egg roll. I will say the egg roll is the closest thing to a New York style egg roll that I've had in Utah and I enjoyed it. I didn't mind the sweet and sour pork, but I usually eat it without the sauce. My Wife and Kids said the sauce tasted like cleaner. This was for Valentine's Day for the family and my wife was extremely disappointed almost to the point of tears that we wasted money on something special that failed so miserably. The crispy beef was so overcooked and inedible. It reminded me of the burnt Fried Chicken Chunks that fall to the bottom of the bag, but an entire platter of that with sauce on it. It was hard to chew and not very appetizing. The lo mein and the wonton soup tasted like they came from an old pot that had been sitting around for a while and we're not very flavorful... except for what my son called dishwater flavor. The orange chicken was probably the entree that everybody liked the most. Definitely not the best orange chicken we've had in the area, but pretty decent. The fried rice was worse than you get at the mall. My daughter liked her miso soup and I didn't think they drop soup was too bad either although a bit thick. Overall, like I said, my wife is pretty upset that we wasted almost $80 to do a nice Valentine's dinner for our family and it was a total bust. I can't stress enough how overcooked and inedible the crispy beef was. More crispy than a bag of Cheetos.

Great place for family dining or lunch on the go. Highly
We come here often and it is consistently good food and good service. It doesn’t matter if it’s busy or slow…it’s always good here! The sugar balls are to die for, they are a must have!!
I’ve been coming here for a while. This is the second time this female waiter was super rude. We were waiting on someone and didn’t want to order our food yet till the person came, when she came to the table we told her we would wait and she continued to roll her eyes and mutter something under her breath. We were the only people there eating. We usually order 2 rolls and then order some more but when we finished our food she brought out the check. When we wanted to order more and she rolled her eyes and said okay, she came back and we decided we didn’t want to order anything because this was the worst service. The fact that it’s happened already from coming in a different time. Service is horrible, It’s the same female waiter too. Don’t recommend if you want mediocre food, and horrible atmosphere. Maybe they shouldn’t be open on sundays if they don’t want to work

I was trying to avoid the big chain restaurants all over the place and I found Fortune Cookie. Dinner for 2 was affordable, fresh and full of flavor. The food was crispy not soggy. Clean wiped down tables which I appreciate and the house dressing on the salad was so good!

This is one of my favorite Chinese food restaurants. The food is amazing. The service is fast and friendly. Their sweet and sour chicken is so good at most places I've eaten it is too overwhelmingly sweet but here it is perfect. They don't have peas and carrots in the fried rice which is perfect for me. The egg rolls are nice big really yummy egg rolls not those little spring rolls. I've never had a wonton anywhere else that tasted so good. I'm not a huge fan of sushi but the sushi here is also so good that I will get it from time to time.
