We had two great lunches on our way to and from Moab at Mom's in Salina. Very friendly people. Recommend.
Went to mom’s cafe for dinner last night. I wanted Flat Iron.. the waitress said they were out. I asked for Ribeye.. they were also out of Ribeye. asked for shrimp.. also out of Shrimp!! The waitress felt very embarrassed to keep telling us they were out of things!! Do better management.

It’s been almost 3 years since I was last here. I’ve looked forward to coming ever since. The last time I was here my friend had the chicken fried steak and let me have a bite. It was SO good. I was disappointed at the time for not getting it.I was pretty disappointed today. It tasted like it was a frozen product. Between that and the gravy, it was bland and disappointing. The mashed potatoes were cold and hot at the same time. Made me think they were microwaved.The serving sizes were pretty small whereas the last time we were in, they were huge. We got a lot of food for the money.I understand the economy has hurt everyone so I’m sure that’s part of it.Overall, it was just disappointing. We drove 2 hours to come to Moms Cafe. It wasn’t worth it this time.
