Sadly went to wine dinner here last night and the food was just not good. Not played well didn’t make sense and had no flavor. Plus our lamb chops were barely warm and sat on cold eggplant mush that was making in flavor. The wine was good but for the money we paid we were not happy. They did take the lamb back to rewarm it but it wax just really not good. I went home hungry and disappointed in the quality compared to the price we paid

What a great place! We had such a lovely evening here. Many choices on the menu, food was delicious and our server was exceptional. Will definitely be back!

We went to The Sommelier dinner tonight and it was so disappointing. The food was just not good. The first course was a crab cake that had no discernible crab in it . The Prosecco paired with or was yummy. The next course a cauliflower curry with an Orange wine. Both were fine but plating was odd and the curry was just ok. Main course was lamb chops with baba ganoosh. The baba ganoosh was Cold and when we asked they said it warrant to be cold and the lamb was luke warm They took the lamb back to be rewarm but it was not very good. Then we ended with a pana cotta that had no flavor which I suppose was because the wine paired with it was very sweet . I would not go back for another wine dinner here . I left hungry and unsatisfied

So everything about the food and drinks here were great. I have gone to numerous restaurants and this is one of the few I have had poor service. Our waiter was basically taking his time to chat to the ladies behind the bar and we had to keep looking at him to get our attention. Super weird vibes. The food was pretty good but I probably would want to go somewhere else next time I'm downtown just because of the service :/

The drinks and atmosphere and server personality was amazing! Food was a lot to eat for two people! which is amazing for value but it was quite heavy. taste was amazing but we could not finish any of the plates we ordered. Drinks were delicious and the wine flights were a fun option especially for Utah where it is hard to get “normal” drink pours. The service was a bit slow, but it was a friday night so that makes sense! I would definitely go back, but maybe this time for more drinks and less food.

Atmosphere was excellent. Relaxed. High backed booths give private vibe. Service was excellent and friendly. Wagyu burger was juicy, fresh and delicious and allowed multiple flavors to ring through. Ravioli was flavorful and not too heavy. The meat and cheese board was underwhelming but did have many good flavors (blood orange cheddar cheese!!!) and the portions were good for sharing. The house salad was just ok and felt a little drowned in dressing and seemed lifeless. I was excited to try the dark chocolate cake and while it had excellent flavor it was dry and a bit disappointing. We would definitely return and try some additional entrees and just drink in the vibes.

As always, Louie was fantastic. His expertise as a sommenier is valued and I continue to enjoy the experience as well as the wine selection. Food is consistently good and service is spot on.

It was nice that they took reservations so we got right in. We really enjoyed our private room because it cut down on the noise. I took my 86 year old parents so the chairs were a bit hard for them, but our waitress was nice enough to go get my dad a cushiony chair. The food was excellent and the price was reasonable. I would definitely go there again.

Food was great (recommend the butternut squash ravioli). Service: I showed up on time for my reservation and there were no available tables (hostess seemed confused). Had to wait 15 min to be seated. Supposedly some tables were “lingering” too long. Took a while for the waiter to come around. We ordered two entrees and they forgot the salads. I think service was better sitting at the bar (no wait either).

BTG is our favorite place to go with a group of 4-6. The high-backed booths create an intimate space for conversation while also blocking out the noise from nearby tables. It is fun to try a flight or two and then settle on either a bottle for the table or individual glasses. We asked for the Caffe Molise menu in addition to the BTG menu and our party ended up ordering about half from Caffe Molise and half from the BTG menu, which is more limited but has interesting options. The fish special was great, served with angel hair pasta and the complementary side salad. I love the Mediterranean salad, which is more substantial and includes olives, dried spiced tomatoes, and a more interesting dressing than the complementary side salad (which is good, but simple). We had to share a bread pudding because the caramel sauce is not to be denied (Caffe Molise menu).

This was the first time we have been into BTG on a weeknight. It is normally very crowded. The food is always good. We did have to send back one thing because it was not hot, but it was perfect when it came back out. We had excellent service! This is a place we continue to visit

We went to Cafe Molise planning to be seated without a reservation. It would have been a 1-1/2 hr wait but it was suggested by the host that we try BTG instead. It turns out that BTG had the same menu as Cafe Molise but a quieter atmosphere.Bottom line bc I’m tired of typing: great dinning experience. I had the mushroom ravioli, my wife had the pork tenderloin with fig compote. Exceeded our expectations. Our server, Mollie, was one of the best we’ve ever had. She was very knowledgeable in a respectful, patient manner and went out of her way to assure we had a great dinner.

This is a great little wine bar that sits underneath the Caffé Molise. The ambiance is one of dark oak and resembles a wine cellar. The wine selection was very good, and the wine bar was perfect for an intimate setting. The food was delicious and the staff was extremely attentive and knowledgeable on the various wines. It is important to note that this wine bar is also associated with the Caffé Molise and we were able to order off of their menu and have it brought down to us.Overall, the food, the ambiance, the service, and the experience are all five stars. I totally recommend this experience to anyone looking for a cozy and intimate setting.Parking: I was able to find parking right off the bat, but their lot is very small... Maybe about 15 parking spaces. My date had to park at the hotel parking lot next door and walk.
