I don’t typically eat a lot of curry and stuff because the spices hurt my stomach but this place is AMAZING!! no too spicy but just enough and their curry is one the best I’ve tried!

CHECK YOUR RECEIPT - for a $14.53 meal (that total INCLUDES taxes plus 4% additional for using a credit card) I was charged $16.94. (16.5% up-charge) When I called to clarify he said he didn't know why there was a difference but said it was what he came up with. And I left a $2.00 tip on top of the $16.94 - man what a rip off. I paid $1.99 for what I was told was naan and it was a store bought piece of pita bread. All around huge disappointment and I don't really know why people rave about the curry - it was average at best - but my dog liked it. The guy taking my order was polite but gave off the vibe that he would rather be about anywhere else.

Whatever you do, don’t order the beef. It is basically cat food beef. The rice was cooked well, chicken is ok…. But DO NOT GET THE BEEF.. Trust me. My cat would not even eat it. It also costs twice as much as what it’s worth. Do not recommend.

I work a few blocks from Curry in a Hurry & when they first opened a group of us at work would get lunch there every Friday, service was always mom & pop & they were ALWAYS nice with welcoming smiles & attitudes. As the years went by some things changed, the naan bread changed to store bought pita bread, I still loved the chicken curry so I simply didn't eat the gross pita bread. The most notable change tho was the day I went in by myself and was hit by a wave of negative vibes coming from the young man behind the counter who had me feeling like I was an intruder, he had a haughty attitude and if-looks-could-kill I was dead before stepping inside. He slopped the food in the cartons like he was being forced to do something he didn't want to be doing & wouldn't answer when I asked if they had any veggie samosas left. I left with my food thinking maybe he was just having a bad day & let it go, I went again a couple of months later just to walk inside & see him behind the counter again with the same mass negative vibes flowing from him, the same rotten attitude & dirty looks, after that visit I was done with the place. It's been several years since I've been there & was actually considering stopping in there this Saturday to get lunch but came here first to read some reviews & yep, he's still "working" there & still making customers feel unwelcome, that's all I needed to know, I will NEVER consider that place again. I hate cooking & didn't want the work it takes but I will be making my own white woman chicken curry that tastes a whole lot better & naan that can be store bought just like their Greek pitas...

This place used to be my favorite for curry in the valley. Unfortunately the service and food quality has gone down tremendously. When I first started going here the owners (the mom and dad of the family) were always there and food and service was fantastic. The last few years they have backed off and the kids and other people have taken over. The service is horrendous. They can't speak English, they rarely get the order right and are honestly down right rude.Food quality has gone down a lot. Portions are half the size they used to be and they no longer sell Tandoori chicken which in my opinion was the best thing they had on their menu. I'm so disappointed in this place. I thought I'd continue to go for years, but unfortunately I won't be coming back.

5 stars all around. Love this place! The people there are always so kind and friendly. There is so much food, and the chicken curry is my favorite. Never had a bad experience. Any time a friend wants curry, I always recommend this place.
