Not a good experience. Ordered a couple of burgers. The tap house burger. Burger was ok meaning the meat. I more bun than burger. Not very tasty. Fries were soggy and not tasty at all. One of the servers had terrible BO which added to the ambience. Wouldn't eat here again.

Cool vibe, especially the front patio! Vibe of the place is good but food was not great. Just weird flavors and overcooked is all. Go for a beer not the food.

Been twice. Bacon burger both times. Barely any bacon and meat way overdone. Good fries. Indoors is loud. Patio is nice. Not worth the money IMO.

For the sake of making a much cash as possible, they cramped as many tables in this place as possible! Absolutely no privacy. Ridiculous. Also, it WOULD be refreshing if there was a single restaurant/bar in Salt Lake that would PROHIBIT their hosts/servers to use cell phones during their shifts! Why do I have to wait for a host/server to finish their private conversation on their cell phone (texting) to help me?? And the final insult was when we got the check for over $30 for 2 tacos, a glass of beer and a shot of tequila (what a rip off)! We paid in cash, left a good tip and left the building. We then stood by the outdoor fireplace for a second and were LITERALLY chased down by our waitress who wanted us to pay! She stated there was still a balance on her stupid little device she was carrying. Confused we told her that we already pay l paid inside. She couldn't comprehend and he stupid little Gen z brain couldn't understand why there was still a balance showing. I then told this imbecile that we left the money on the table with the check. She then had the rudeness, ignorance, audacity and stupidity to state in front of a LOT of people that, and I quote:" She didn't know that cash still existed!!" Seriously! Whoever runs/owns this business is a moron! You hire people based on who might show up for work. You hire people because they are cheap because that's ALL they are capable off: Carrying a plate to a table and ask how the food was. We will never ever set foot in your stupid overhyped place again.

Love this spot. Apps in particular are always good. Cocktails are delicious. Beer selection on point. However, the way they serve beer is disappointing, especially considering the care they clearly put into selecting imports and interesting beers to serve. Belgians, IPAs, Saison, etc are served in a Boston shaker pint glass. For such an elevated atmosphere and dining experience, I would expect them to use proper glassware to serve their brews.

When this place first opened, I came once and didn't come back for a few years - I can't remember why, maybe the menu didn't have anything I liked or the prices seemed too high? I came back with friends the other day and was so impressed that I've been back twice in the last two weeks! I've tried the veggie burger and fries and the cauliflower fritter tacos - and both are delicious - but the best thing is the blood orange hefe. I'm not sure what other restaurants in town carry this one (from Firestone brewing in California), but it's my new favorite beer!

This is my favorite bar near 9th and 9th. Intimate feel, great staff, tasty food, and good beers on tap. Great place for a date night or for solo travelers. Taphouse Burger always hits the spot after snowboarding!Parking: I can usually find free street parking on Windsor St

Listen up. Local here. I've frequenting this spot literally since it opened on convenience alone. Something magical is going down, and I'm not sure if there's a new chef in town or what, but let me tell you - the fries have hit a whole new level of consistent perfection. And don't even get me started on the garlic peppercorn aioli; it's a symphony of salt, fat, acid, spice, and a genuine dedication to mastering the basics. Now, you've got to understand, I'm fiercely passionate about my food journey. I treat my morning cup of coffee like a chemistry experiment (thanks to my minor) and the same ethos applies when I'm in the kitchen. I'm all about testing, tweaking, and sourcing top-notch ingredients until the dish becomes the absolute best version of itself. I champion simplicity because every ingredient deserves to shine and be savored. I'm convinced that a kindred spirit has taken the reins of the Tap House Burger, and let me tell you, it's nothing short of perfection. Even the GF bun replacement doesn't feel like a compromise - it holds its own in taste and consistency. Picture this: an incredibly juicy burger without a drop of grease or sauce messing up your plate. I repeat, no grease puddles, not even a hint of drips. And there's no over-saucing drama either. The mouthfeel of that single crisp lettuce is on point, and even the bread and butter pickles bring just the right tang to elevate this American classic into a downright emotional, orgasmic experience. The beer here is ok; a little light on taste and body. However, order one with a burger and you'll walk away with no regrets.

We came here for a beer and dinner after a University of Utah basketball game. They have a good selection of beers both on tap and bottles. The food and service were very good and I loved the seasoning on their house made french fries. I would definitely recommend the Tap House, for a cold beer, good food with an easy laid back neighborhood vibe. Cheers!

East Liberty is such a great spot on 9th and 9th! They have the cutest build out and always have good service. Great spot for food or drinks! I got the cauliflower tacos and loved them.
