Was on a layover in SLC enroute to KC and this place was right next to my gate. Got the Gyro bowl and Steak bowl. Also got two portions of Baklava. Ate the Gyro bowl while waiting to board my flight. Had the steak bowl for dinner that night. The next day I had food poisoning. Literally raining from my backside, at this time 15 trips already to the bathroom with explosive diarrhea. This was the only place I ate on the 17 March 2024. The service was quick but the food was lukewarm. Be wary!!!

Vibrant, fresh, interesting food that you can sit and enjoy or grab and run. Serving REAL FOOD (salad) at 9 am. Thank you.Tried this on a suggestion and so glad I did. The process isn't well marked so its a bit like Cafe Rio or Subway where they build what you request.1. Pick what you want to eat. Pita, Wrap or Gyro (great for grab and go airport walking and eating) OR rice bowl, salad or plate.2. Pick your protein. Chicken, steak, falafel, meat or portabello mushrooms for the vegetarian based eaters.3. Pick your toppings and fillers. Seasoned rice, Romaine lettuce, tabouleh salad, cucumber and tomato salad, red cabbage, pickled ren onion, 2 kinds of hummus, kalamata olives, AND MORE.4. Pick your sauce or dressings. They had TzaTziki, a greek vinaigrette, a garlic cream base, Tahini, etc. You can add feta cheese also.5. To round out your meal they have apples, falafel, baklava, crisps, drinks you can add on.I didn't try the mushrooms, or sides but as for the greek salad creation that I made, the ingredients were fresh, loaded with the protein I requested, the protein was seasoned and prepared well, the toppings and fillers were thoughtfully prepared and flavorful, and I am looking forward to my next layover to try the falafel and eggplant sides.Vegetarian options: Lots of fresh veggies, salads, fillers and toppings to create a vegetarian option, even without the "portbello" protein.Dietary restrictions: Keto, Carnivore, Vegetarian

If you want something Fast and Good, I recommend the Handheld Steak Pita. This is my go to place when I’m waiting for my flight out at the Salt Lake Airport. ?

This is my go-to restaurant whenever I fly out of SLC. I'm a bit embarrassed to admit that I actually try to show up early so that I can grab a bite to eat here (who admits that about airport food?!)I always get the falafel wrap - they absolutely stuff it full of a wide assortment of tasty Mediterranean food options - so much so, that they struggle to close the wrap. It literally bursts open with the first bite! It takes some care and a bunch of napkins, but eating this colossal yumminess is a fun treat.I usually get (and highly recommend) falafel, spicy hummus, lettuce, rice, roasted veggies, pickled onions, pickled cabbage, kalamata olives, feta, and tahini sauce in my wrap. Mmm-mmm!There is rarely a crowd here - travelers who flock to the better known American grub spots don't know what they are missing. There are usually tables available, and some are near electrical outlets for charging electronics. The pricing isn't bad either - $11 for my wrap and it's all the food you'll need. The staff is friendly and helpful, even when rushed. Give it a try - you won't be disappointed!

Fresh, healthy, cheap food is hard to find at the airport and this spot checks all the boxes!

Healthy Mediterranean at SLC. Got a wrap with chicken, rice, cucumber and tomato, and some sauces. Really good flavor. Reasonably priced vs what else you can find. Will definitely come back next time I'm in town.

Okay this was amazing for airport food! I got a wrap and it was basically like a Greek burrito. Sooo good. They stuffed it to the brim all the toppings barely fit. Incredibly flavorful and tasty.I will say the steak is on the dry side, but when mixed with toppings and sauces, it turns out pretty good. And $13 for a massive steak burrito isn’t bad to me for airport prices.

I used to be a Cafe Rio person when I came to the airport, but this place is less expensive, less busy, and so much better! Their wraps are so good and so are the stuffed pitas. If you like Cafe Rio tortillas, you’ll love theirs!
