Stopped by to have the lunch buffet (M-F only, $17.50 including tax). Everything was fresh. Good selection of entrees and sidesPlus salad and dessert. I liked that they had descriptions of what was in each dish too. Recommend.

Wow! Really good, authentic, delicious. They don't mess around. Spicy is hot. But oh so good! New favorite for authentic Indian food in Salt Lake City. Yum!

Himalayan Kitchen has a nice relaxing atmosphere with great food. We started off with the bread basket and assorted meat platter. Both were really good and provided great samples of breads and meats. The included sauces were also amazing. For the entrees we had the prawn curry and butter chicken. Both of these had amazing flavor and would recommend. For desserts we had the pistachio ice cream and rice pudding. The ice cream was awesome but the rice pudding was a bit underwhelming but still decent. Overall this place was great with amazing food and fast service.

Located off 400 it’s ideally located for downtown residents and or visitors. The food was tasty and the naan bread delicious. The atmosphere is ok and the service ok. I do think that tipping as a whole has gotten out of hand. You tip for service not out of necessity. But if you want a reasonable location downtown for Indian food, this is an okay place to go. Enjoy.

The food at this place is authentically delicious and compares favorably to similar cuisines I’ve tried. I highly recommend their signature dishes, particularly the lamb saga, fried rice and momo. Additionally, their Himalayan beer is a must-try; The overall experience was pleasant, with attentive and friendly servers. I definitely recommend dining here and come back again

Absolutely delicious. We had the butter chicken, something chickpea from the vegetarian menu?, naan, cheese naan, basmati rice, and the lamb something. Sorry I'm not more specific. Point is that it was all delicious, and we had a professional chef eating with us. I will definitely eat there again.

I felt like that food was lacking in flavor. I asked for my dish to be medium spicy, but it tasted like they added nothing. The flavors were underwhelming in comparison to other places. Staff was great and service is fast.

(Everything except the naan js gf in this review)Hands down our favorite place we ate on our week long stay in Salt Lake City. The ambience is great, soothing nature noises, great vibes and excellent service! They have a clearly labeled menu online so for that reason I did not include it in photos here. We started with a mango lassi and the himilayan tea. We LOVED the mango drink, if it had been free refills we would’ve sonimbed several. My tea was great as well! (Think warm herbs, and milk yum!)Then we had the chicken pekora, and paneer (cheese) pekora. We liked both a lot but preferred the chicken! (I especially liked dipping this in my butter chicken sauce! ?) Then we tried the dal aloo ko soup which my husband really liked! We ordered the butter chicken with white rice and YUM YUM YUM it was so flavorful and delicious! I loved it!My husband also got the Himalayan special naan and he said it absolutely was delicious! I wish they had gf naan! Then for dessert we split the kulfi, we got the mango one and it’s basically a super creamy frozen ice cream adjacent dessert. It was so rich and flavorful and we loved it!10/10 recommend!Vegetarian options: Clearly labeledDietary restrictions: Awesome friendly staff with excellent knowledge of menu and ingredients. Lots of gluten free, vegetarian and other optionsParking: Paid parking and free parking but not easy close parking alwaysKid-friendliness: They have great food and a cool atmosphere for family diningWheelchair accessibility: No steps into restaurant and good wide aisles and places to park at and eat but not a ton of handicap parking.
