This place is very inconvenient. They're always closed whenever you want to order food. The description is wrong as well. It says "dining," but you can't dine in. You have to go there and pick it up in the ghetto. Ridiculous.

This is the third time they cancelled my order on Doordash without letting me know till last minute. They are ALWAYS out of certain food and they don't tell you if theyre closing till the day of or when you place your order. I guess they don't like money or business. This will be my last time ordering from them. Very unprofessional and bad for business. I'm never going here or ordering from them again!!!

All the Filipino restaurants serve meat lumpia shanghai none of them serve banana lumpia. I was stationed in the Philippines for 4 years and love their food best in Asia. I especially loved banana lumpia and champurrado.

This is a pick up only place. You don't see the kitchen, sit on a table, anything, just go and pick up the food.

I ordered the Beef Pares Silog, after taxes and tip I paid $18 for the meal. But honestly I'm not even mad about it, they give you a good decent amount of meat, it was so tender and flavorful! The rice also was on point, the perfect amount of chew and the fragrance of garlic! With a perfectly cooked fried egg on top, a well rounded dish, I only wish I added another egg, and maybe have the yolk a little more runny.

Door dash is not something I have done much of, but it worked out well. I had ordered chicken adobo and it's moist, tender and flavorful. Wish the egg was not cooked quite so much, because I love yoke mixing with the rice,But I will order again

Divine. That's how I would sum up this exquisite food! Decided to try something new and so grateful did! Every mouthful was flavorful and delicious, the drinks are very tasty, and the service is fast! This is not a dine-in, but you won't regret the drive to get it!

This was my first time trying Filipino food, and it did not disappoint. It was very good, it is the classic protein over rice, it also includes an egg and some cut up veggies . The dessert was great as well. This is located in an odd place where the parking can get tight. You arrive and check in. Might be easier the more frequently you go, but my first time picking up was a little confusing.

I recently ordered through Doordash for Janis Filipino Cuisine and tried their Pares. Overall, I found the Pares to be a little bit on the salty side, which was a slight drawback for me. However, the flavors were still enjoyable, and I appreciated the tender meat. One thing that could have enhanced the experience would have been a more generous serving of rice, as it would have balanced out the saltiness. There was a slight confusion regarding whether there was supposed to be a soup served with the Pares, but it didn't bother me much as the dish itself was satisfying. TMoving on to dessert, I ordered the halo-halo, and I must say it was delightful. The mixture of various ingredients such as sweet beans, fruits, jellies, and shaved ice created a refreshing and flavorful combination. What I particularly liked about Janis Filipino Cuisine's halo-halo was the sealed plastic top it came with, similar to what you would get when ordering boba drinks. This attention to detail prevented any spillage and added a nice touch to the overall presentation.

There's quality professionalism and hospitality shown in how they execute all the processes involved from start to finish.Went to the physical location and learned it is not a sit down place but for pick up and delivery.Food is full of flavor and comparable with the cost. I've ordered from them consecutively these past few days. The food that arrives looks exactly like in the photos. There is thoughtful care in the packaging of the food as well.I mistakenly pressed the wrong food when ordering and got something I was unfamiliar with. Demetrius compared it to meatloaf. So glad I messed up because it was indeed very good.Wishing Demetrius and his team all the success. Hoping they stay in SLC for years to come. They fill a spot that's clearly missing and much needed.
