Wanting to try something different, we heard about the Turkish Coffee and wanted to see the process and taste a cup. Parking is really really challenging but once you find a spot, this is a cozy little house with many seating areas. The ordering counter is next to the setup for heating the Turkish Coffee. We enjoyed watching our server heat and pour this traditional cup. We especially enjoyed the seasonings that you could add to flavor the coffee. While it is a small cup, it sure is bold enough and packs a punch :) Glad we could try something different, check it out!

Saw their story on instagram and wanted to give a try. We drove 40mins to get to this place, was so excited but unfortunately I didn't have a great experience here. It had a tiny little area for the register and there were many people in that tiny space, thought they were in line but turned out they were waiting for their orders. The person at the register wasn't welcoming & seemed unhappy to answer my questions so I felt uncomfortable & rushed. No gözleme (it was the main reason that I went there), no to go containers & no fork. Got last beef börek they had with beet salad, two baklava and spinach börek for $42. The cashier was touching the salad with her bare hand when she was putting it in a container, gross!!! Couldn't eat it - it looked good tho. Beef börek was okay, spinach one was not good - wouldn't recommend. Baklavas were tiny. I lived in Turkey almost for a decade I know how their food tastes and how the people treat their customers with hospitality. This place didn't seem authentic to me at all.... So so disappointed, would not return

The food was thoughtfully prepared and absolutely delectable. We tried several items there was not a bad one in the bunch. The price is fair. The menu offers a variety of savory and sweet, hot or cold. I honestly feel like I got one of everything but I didn't. The service was exceptional, I asked a lot of questions, and they graciously answered all of them. The unlimited tea is self serve, I really enjoyed being able to drink the tea at my own pace. The vibe is super awesome terrific. The house has a spacious patio and there are three generous floors of seating to choose from. They also offer a nice selection of services on the second floor. I am looking forward to trying a sound bath and possibly bringing a couple of people with me to take advantage of the group rate. The group rate is about one dollar per minute, per person. I am happy that this café exists in my city. I met one of my friends at the café. She wanted me to try the Turkish tea and coffee. I didn't try the coffee but I tried a few different teas. They were all delicious and their set up is insanely adorable you just have to stop by and experience it yourself. I truly had a lovely time after we finished our tea and food. We took a tour of the whole café. The people on the second floor that provide the different services were very welcoming, and answered all of our questions. We had an unexpected good time, laughing and talking with them after we got done with our self guided tour we got a couple of gift items. Thank you for the delicious food and drinks.

I decided to spice things up and check out Kahve Cafe. They are a shop serving up coffee the Turkish way. Grounds and water in one pot, artfully stroked through heated sand to maintain the right brewing temperature. It's definitely an art and not a science. *BEWARE: the grounds are not filtered out but served in the cup. Give the drink a few minutes to let the grounds settle and don't try to drink down to the bottom of the cup or you'll end up with a mouthful of grit. Best to look up Turkish coffee beforehand to know what you're getting into.* While you're there grab a few light pastries, the little bites of baklava are incredible. Wonderful flavor with just the right amount of sweetness to balance your coffee with. The other pastries seemed delectable but it was tough not being familiar with what they were. I'm a fan of asking questions but some little signs might help those too shy to ask. The shop also serves up what they call "moon milk" think heated milk with spices like cinnamon, cardamom, clove, etc. This place gets busy fast and seating is limited. If you're with a large group you may find it difficult to sit together. The drink menu is posted next to the register but I doubt you'll be able to look at it ahead of time. This lends itself to be a little hectic especially when there's so many people in line behind you while you attempt to read all the descriptions. QR code menus or something near the entrance would probably help streamline the ordering process.

My friend Justine and I decided to try this Turkish coffee place out a few weeks ago and it was in between our homes, so it was perfect! I have had Turkish coffee before, but I had never seen it made in front of me. It was a house turned coffee shop, which is super cute! We went on a Saturday and it was soooooo busy and the line was out the door (disclaimer: the weekdays are usually a bit slower and not as packed). It took maybe 15-20 minutes to get from the door to ordering, but I was happy to wait. There were a lot of fun things to look at. They have a variety of drink options: coffee, tea, & Moon Milk (which I will try next time) and food options: pastries (including gf), and salads. I went with Turkish coffee with Cardamom sugar, eggplant salad, and a gf black tea cake. Justine picked a table in a back corner room, which was nice and cozy. The other rooms had a variety of seating options, including floor cushions. The second floor houses a lady who does sound bath and also a tarot reader/Reiki practitioner. The 3rd floor has more seating in the attic. Super cute space, but the stairwell is a little shallow (in case you want to head up there). I love all the decor in this place! It's so fun and just my style! Maybe we can come back on a less busy day and have a more ease full conversation.

Space is a little cramped when foot traffic is heavy. It can become claustrophobic and indoor seating is hard to come by. You may want to your food when you receive it if it's busy. For example, we saw a fellow patron receive hummus that had been used in somebody's else's charcuterie board. GF tea cake wasn't all that great. Turkish coffee was excellent with cinnamon sugar. I had never had moon milk in the past and I should have done more research on my end. It has an intensely grainy texture and I feel like it should be mentioned on the menu. Outdoor seating was fantastic even in cold weather. Seats were comfy and they had good space warmers. 3.5/5

Atmosphere and service were great, but came to try a moon milk and it was underwhelming. Lacked flavor and tasted mostly like almond milk and nothing more, which is upsetting considering the price point ($6.75). Also the temperature of the moon milk was lukewarm.Cozy environment but probably will not return considering my drink just didn’t taste good.

I love the cozy charm and delight in both the ambiance and the food! Baklava custard as well as moon milk in so many variations! And, of course, a classic Turkish coffee is a must! I like the fun flavored sugars and spices to add. Explore all three floors and various secret nooks each time you go back!

I come here primarily for the Turkish Coffee as it’s made exactly the way it should be; our favorite additions are cardamom and saffron.I recently read a review complaining about the price and serving size of the Turkish coffee here. The size of the cup is the traditional size, and it’s priced very fairly for what goes into it.That said, weekends are indeed busy but service is always friendly. This is consistently a warm and welcoming place. We’re fortunate to have it in our city.

Wow, I can’t believe I haven’t been to this place sooner. The atmosphere is unmatched!! So comforting and the perfect spot to cozy up with a book. I got the moon milk and some chocolate cake and they were so good! I will be coming back regularly for sure.
