Used to love coming to Little World for the lunch special, but since ownership changed this place has gone way down hill.It used to look decent inside and out. Now it looks like it’s falling apart. The egg drop soup is so thick it’s like the texture of raw egg whites and flavorless. The rice was served cold. They don’t give you the appropriate sauces unless you ask for themThe portion sizes are like 1/2 of what they used to be.Just generally disappointed the last few times I’ve here.

Kung pow chicken sauce is really good but the chicken pieces are way too big and not enjoyable to eat.

as an east coaster having moved west three years ago and recently new to salt lake this spot is the place to go. total hole in the wall and yes the neighborhood isn’t the safest or most pleasing to the eye but that’s the ambience in seeking cheap, delicious, large portions of drool inducing satisfying delectable Chinese food. every single friend or relative i take here is skeptical but ALWAYS concludes with saying it’s the best Chinese food they’ve ever had. the wait staff is also very friendly and the food is fresh. truly a smashing joint. my absolute favorite in the city. if you give it a chance you will be pleased.

This place is old and dirty, which would be OK if the food was good, but it is not. I ordered the Sichuan pork. Obviously, the cook has never been to Sichuan, and I don’t think he’s very familiar with Sichuan food. There was no spice to it whatsoever. The sauce was way too sweet and there was hardly any pork in the dish. I step down from Panda Express for sure. The sign says authentic Chinese food, but I have been to China and this is far from it

Still one of the best options for Chinese takeout. My favorite is their Chinese broccoli with tofu. Another favorite of the family is the sweet and sour chicken combo. It's something of everything for an individual diner it's nice to have a combination available all the time, not only on lunch. Their service is always excellent. Just ignore the old building or I think it nostalgic perhaps.Vegetarian options: I usually get the Chinese broccoli with tofu. I can't vouch for their sauces, I might contain non-vegetarian ingredients like fish sauce. It's not marked clearly.

I’ve eaten here for 10 years. I order the same selection of a few dishes and they are delicious every time. I was pretty surprised by some of the negative reviews. Is the neighborhood sketchy? Yes. Are there homeless people around? Yes. Not sure how that is Little Worlds fault. Some people faulted the building for being run down. I also read about the ethnicity of the cooks… seems weird as long as the food is good and authentic. I can’t speak to the duck or other dishes people have had issues with. We always order the following.1. Pom Pom chicken (always always good)2. Veggie Lo mien with egg noodle (delicious)3. Green beans & carrots cooked with garlic. (it’s not really on the menu but my wife lived in china for a year and this is the only place that does it right)We get take out from here frequently. Twice in the past month. For the price?.. hard to beat, I highly recommend for Chinese takeout

Went in about two weeks ago ordered the dinner for two. We've been going to this restaurant for years but this last time that we went was possibly one of the worst times that we've ever had. Finding out that the rice was pretty much rotten smelled really bad. Got my son sick for about two days. I'm not sure if it's still the same owners or different owners, but it has definitely changed throughout the years. Please check your food.

Im going to start off by saying I’m not from Utah, I moved from Chicago, so my taste for good Chinese is definitely very picky. I’ve tried SOOO many Chinese restaurants in SLC looking for a good one, places that people have suggested and Places that google has led me too. so many restaurants with more reviews AND higher ratings than this one and none have compared to this!! We got the dinner special that came with rice, two sides and two dinner options- $16 per person which is was a great deal! We got General tsaos chicken & beef and broccoli! And they were both Delicious! This place is definitely a hole in the wall and it’s not for your Instagram shot.. but that’s ok because the food is deLucious’ ! this is my new fav Chinese spot! So thankful to have finally found GOOD CHINESE IN THIs city! ????????Parking: Easy parking on side
