I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while now but could never get out there. This place did not disappoint. My Philly husband loved it and it’s hard to impress him when it comes to Stromboli’s and pizza. We will definitely be back soon! Best Stromboli in Utah!

It's an all takeout operation in an unexpected location but it's well worth the trouble. Some of the best food I've had in a long while. We got the meatball and the cauliflower ceaser salad. Absolutely beautiful bread, well seasoned meatballs, good sauce, good ratios of everything. I could not stop raving. The salad was a little intense for my husband (who's not a big fan of raw cauliflower or ceaser to be fair) but it was perfect for me. Intesting, full of flavor, and a perfect compliment to the meaty sandwich. We also got a cookie and it was pretty good. I'm always biased towards my own chocolate chip cookies and this one was a little sweet for me (I prefer dark chocolate chips) but the texture and flavor was good and it came out warm!We tend to eat probably a little less than the average person, but one sandwich and a salad was plenty for both of us. We had to wait a beat before eating the cookie.

Literally every aspect of my meatball Stromboli and fries were perfect! Note that this is in a kitchen incubator so there are few places to sit and eat. So worth it and will be back to try more!Vegetarian options: Mushroom Philly cheesesteak

This was our first time trying Marcato. We got two stromboli sandwiches, Give Me the Beet, and the Papa. I was surprised that the beet sandwich was our favorite because it sounds a little crazy when reading the description. It was so good and the bread was on point. The papa was tasty as well. We also got a cauliflower Caesar salad that was also delicious. I would go back here. This restaurant is located in the Square Kitchen on 800 S, so it is not a sit down restaurant. You take your food to go. Walking into these places is usually a bit awkward because you just stand around hoping that someone will come help you. We didn't have to wait too long, and the guy who brought us our food was super nice. Give this place a try!

I'm glad Utah now has a place like this one, I got the cubano and it was delicious I could feel quality food, I give 4 because the bottom of the bread was a bit burned and it ruined the perfection.

We loved the Papa. We're big fennel sausage fans. The peppers and cheese reminded us all of a Philly cheese steak. We got the meatball too and it was just as amazing, maybe even better. The marcato sauce was really good, but both stromboli were flavorful and juicy enough without it. The dough and all the ingredients were so fresh.

I had to run a few errands downtown today and was looking on Yelp for a new place to try. Marcato popped up and I'm a huge fan of Stromboli. We plugged it into maps to take us there. We passed the place a few times because we couldn't see a sign. We parked and went to the address 751.... Please don't let location and no sign deter you from trying Marcato. It will not disappoint!!! We went inside and found the kiosk to order. We did the Teacher and Meatball. Wow!!! First off they are huge. You won't go away hungry after this meal. Make sure to get plenty of napkins and get a side of the Marcato sauce for dunking. Thank you for a great lunch! We will be back!! I told the family about this place for them to try. Next time I'll order online on the website and wait for the text to go inside and pick it up.

This place is excellent. I got The Teacher and I ate it so quickly that I didn’t get a photo. I couldn’t stop. The food is takeout only at the time of writing this so I would recommend ordering ahead online and then taking it over to the nearby Woodbine food hall to eat it if you don’t live nearby. I will definitely be coming back to try the rest of the menu.

If you're looking for stromboli this is your place. Chef Kyle knows how to make a delicious stromboli. The Teacher absolutely rocked my world. It was amazing. However the meatball, Cubano and the Papa are all fantastic choices as well. The macaroni and cheese was also a home run. You have to pick up there is nowhere to sit and eat which is my only downside to this place. I hope to one day see them in their own restaurant space. 10/10 recommend.

As a central Jersey native Marcato's scratches an itch I can't scratch anywhere else in town. The Teacher is my go-to, but I really like all of them (and I'm especially chuffed that they use Gerome's brand sausage.)Five stars.
