I would never come here again. We came in with my family on a Sunday morning, it was just 4 of us, enough for a booth. My grandpa had gotten there 15 minutes before we did and we were trying to find parking and get out daughter down to walk so they were waiting about 15 minutes for us. The server walked up to them and told them they need to order because she needs to get us in and out so they can serve more people. She was very short and rude the entire time, we had to grab our own silverware and when our food came, she just threw it on the table and came back 10 minutes later and threw down the check. I don't care how good their food is, I am not ever going to come here or recommend anyone come here. If you are so concerned about how many people you serve vs the quality of the service, your business will drown.

Horrible, disappointing!! We ate at the draper Anns when we were here last and it was AMAZING. We were so disappointed we left without eating more than two bites. The restaurant was dirty and the food tastes like a filthy grill. The pancakes were light and fluffy but couldn't get past the gross hard film that tasted like an unwashed pan on the outside. Ordered the famous whip cream for the penny puffs only to be disappointed again. Absolutely no taste. Paid $40 bucks for a bad experience and a bad taste in my mouth!!

No. Just -- don't. This is the location on Main Street in the south Salt Lake area. I've eaten here several times over the past few years, and each time it seems to get worse. The bacon is half cooked, the over-easy eggs were cooked solid. The pancakes are just okay, but not sure what they are serving as "butter". Not at all impressed.

Had the Fried chicken IN waffles and it was amazing. Cooking chicken directly inside the waffle is such a great idea and it is very delicious. The waitress was lovely and the place was very nice.

Penny can definitely cook up some mean breakfast! Large portions, good quality and taste and servers have always been friendly from the 8-12 times we’ve been there. Whatever plate you order make sure to grab a scone for the side ?

This WAS one of my faves. But sadly..... no more. Service was terrible! You have to ask for EVERYTHING. They brought pancakes with no syrup, my omelette with no salt, or pepper. I felt completely ignored and not heard. Won't be going back. Plenty of GOOD breakfast places that care about their customers.

I have always loved going to Penny Ann's Cafe but the only location I had visited before was in Taylorsville! Their breakfast is always delicious and they have so many different choices! Their scones are a must and they're also very famous for their hot cakes! I tried the breakfast burrito without meat and it was definitely my favorite! 5 stars for sure!

A cafe gem for breakfast and lunch in southern SLC. Small, 12 or so tables and a counter. Menu is American with breakfast and lunch offerings. They specialize in pancakes. They also have vegetarian options. Prices are fair. We will return.
