My wife and I have been wanting to try out the Local for a little while now. We finally made it there when wait times at other nearby restaurants were all over 1 hour. The design aesthetic in this place is beautiful, clean, and very enjoyable to take in. We enjoyed being able to get food from 3 different places and drinks at the bar and then take it to our table. The corned beef Reuben was 2/5. I think it was a little too soggy and lacked an additional flavor like more salt, or mustard, or the sauerkraut needed more of a punch. The steak quesadilla was 5/5 very good and the steak had great flavor! I ordered a beer which I though the pricing at $7 was reasonable. My wife got a margarita which was 2/5. We also got an M&M cookie from the coffee shop and it was super yummy. Every single person we interacted with was overly nice. These food halls are such a fun concept and it makes me sad to see that we were only 2 other groups in the building during peak hours on a Saturday while March Madness is in town. This is an awesome option if you have a larger group, didn't plan ahead and get a reservation, or are eating with people that have differing taste buds.

What a great find! We were a group of several couples and happened upon this eatery. They have several cuisine options; but, since we couldn't decide on what we wanted, we ordered dishes from every cuisine. All the food was freshly made, with locally-sourced ingredients and it was all delicious. Each food dish had its own wonderfully unique flavoring, but nothing excessive or overpowering. We commented among ourselves that there were some truly subtle flavors in each dish. The staff was professional and courteous. It was clear they took pride in their work and were enthusiastic about sharing their food with others.

I ordered the Smokehouse Smash and added an extra patty. It came with French Frys and I went 50-50 Frys and Sweet Potatoe Frys. I loved that it only has crispy onions, American cheese, peppered bacon, pickled jalapeños and their smokey sauce on it. No need to hold the pickles or tomatoes on this burger. It was sooooo good. I will definitely come back again SOON!!Wheelchair accessibility: Fully wheelchair accessible! ♿️

The cafeteria style concept is really fun. The decor is uniquely modern. The bar experience is decent. The food offerings can be hit or miss depending which station you go to. The staff are all interconnected so they know about the other places and are overall helpful.

Lots of really cool options here. It's worth checking out. It seems like the food here mught be on rotation, so there's more reason to try it when you can.

Really yummy, simple, inexpensive places inside with inoffensive overhead lighting. They're currently playing elf while I eat empanadas and they let me bring my Celsius in. Yay!

Really love the concept and the space is great, but that's where the positives end for me. Allowed me to order at the table from a restaurant that wasn't open and they didn't deliver my gfs order (let it sit and get cold plus it was undercooked chicken). Expensive and underwhelming. To their credit, I was refunded but after nearly a 45 min wait for the food (that showed up not the pizza), I won't be back.

I love that we have another food hall in SLC! The decor in here is modern and the ambiance is trendy. I like the location as it's pretty centrally located. There is a great variety of food options in here, so it's fun to go with friends who have different preferences from you for what to eat. It's a counter service environment but that's to be expected for a food hall. The people who work the booths are nice. I am excited to go back again!

Loved stopping in and seeing this fresh new spot with a ton of new local eateries in SLC. Tucked in a complex across the street from the library right off 400S, this spot does not disappoint... especially if you are eating with friends who are all in the mood to eat different cuisine. The staff was all super nice and there was plenty of seating when my friend and I popped in. The decor is beautiful and the space is clean. We got food from a few different spots: burger (yum), empanada (oh yeah), pizza (meh). Some of the places were not open when we rolled through so we will definitely be making a second trip back to get to sample allll the goodness.

This is an excellent idea! You can sit down and order to your table. Several restaurants to choose from in the upscale food court. Where it starts to go south is the food... We orders from three different restaurants. First the Greek restaurant has an amazing gyros with great flavor. But the fries were not as pictured in the menu and were just okay. Also the server was super grumpy. Second the bbq place the Mac and cheese was cold and did not have bacon as described. The peach cobbler was ok. Finally portena had an excellent pork empanada that was super delicious. We also ordered the cheese and bacon and it didn't have bacon. It had ham. It was also not hot and the cheese was solid. All in all I am glad we checked it out but we won't be back.

So this was my last meal at the beautiful city of Salt Lake. After so many hamburger meals I this trip I needed a salad!! There is a wonderful Greek place in side this market. Think of this place as a cafe with multiple vendors offering anything you could imagine ... bar that serves beer, wine and hard liquor, pizza, poke, Mexican, hamburgers and my favorite, Greek. I ordered a Greek salad with lamb, doubled up on the salad to avoid the carbs of the rice ... staff was very pleasant and less than 5 minutes after I ordered I was called back to get my food. This was such a delicious salad! Fresh, crispy and the feta !!!! OMG! The feta was creamy and perfectly salted. Did I mentioned it was a huge salad ... yes it was! Exactly what I needed to top this trip! The only reason I give this place 4 stars is because there were about 3 stands closed and no signage. But the food ... 5 stars
