Unexpectedly good pub sandwich and salad. Went on a whim but was very positively suprised.

Genuinely the rudest bartenders I’ve ever encountered in my life and not in a fun rude way just straight up jerks

We were on a hunt to find a place to eat that was open on a Sunday and stumbled upon this place and we were SO glad we did! Honestly the best food we ate all weekend in Salt Lake City. We got the slider trio which the burgers were tender and the bun was soft and buttery. Each flavor combo was perfectly constructed. We also got wings that were cooked perfectly, tender and moist. The dipping sauce were flavorful, including the fry sauce for our fries. Service was great, our server was polite and attentive. It was a bar scene but not too loud, we were able to hear each other from across the table and there's a great outdoor patio too.
Vegetarian options: They have a vegan patty for their burger.

Not the fanciest bar in town, but by far the best value. You won't be disappointed.

A group of six of my friends went to Poplar Street Pub this past Saturday and had THE WORSE SERVICE EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. I am not usually one to write reviews but this was so terrible I decided I had do. We ordered food at 7:44 PM and after 2 hours of waiting we asked if our food was close. The waitress said our ticket had accidentally been skipped and we said it was ok (mistakes happen). We asked if our food would be compensated since it had been so long and she said of course. After another 20 minutes of waiting we asked where the food was and she said she had cancelled the order thinking that "comped" meant we didn't want the food anymore. It had now been around 2.5 hours at the restaurant with no food. We asked to speak to the manager who immediately gave us nothing but a rude attitude and no apologies for the terrible experience and service. The Manager Clint, said that it is not unreasonable for food to take 2 hours to come out on a Saturday night which I don't agree with but we also had friends that had arrived later than us, ordered and gotten their food within 30 minutes so that argument was moot. He was so incredible rude and said our only options were putting food in now and pay full price (it was 10:30PM by this point) or we could leave. Like I said, I'm not usually one to leave reviews unless something is terrible or spectacular but this was so spectacularly bad that I had to.
