I have followed this place from Denver (my daughter lives in Salt Lake). Finally got to go today. They have samples!!! I was so impressed how friendly and knowledgeable the employee was. She described tastes and made suggestions. It was so much fun trying and bringing home 6 cookies. The oatmeal with cherries and apricots was like an amazing breakfast bar. They were all delicious. The best cookies I've ever had!

The cookies are good but the service is absolute trash. They don’t respond to corporate gift requests online, their curbside isn’t ready even when it texts you that it is, and forget about going into the store to pickup. They’re likely out of most flavors hours before closing and if you get Lisha to wait on you she’ll help someone she’s familiar with, who’s walked in after you, before you, even if you’ve been waiting patiently for help. Gave it so many tries with so many failures. I won’t be back.

RubySnap isn’t a cookie, it’s an *experience*.The cookies are next level: innovative combinations of flavors and textures, well balanced, delightfully sweet without being too sugary.Anyway I really enjoy these cookies. I’ve brought them as gifts and everyone swooned. The employees are always super friendly and chatty.Amazing local gem!

Every time I come to Ruby Snap, the staff is friendly, down-to-earth, and so helpful. They are generous with their samples and talkative about the different flavors and their thoughts. Cookies are delicious, not too sweet, and inventive without “everything and the kitchen sink” flavor combos like other local cookie bakeries. Plus woman-owned!

Earlier reviews have said it first, this spot really is a gem. I was a bit skeptical when I first saw the pictures of the cookies here as I'm not personally a big fan of cake cookies, but I figured since it's a Salt Lake City staple I couldn't just sit back and pass on the opportunity. I ended up walking a bit over two miles round trip for this cookie run. I personally love sour flavors and sampled the Lola (panela curd with lemon glaze) and Sophia (passionfruit hibiscus, olive oil base), but they were both on the cakey side for my personal taste. I got a half dozen box with one Amby (brown butter walnut chocolate chip), one Penelope (peanut butter truffle), one Snickerdudette (horchata snickerdoodle), one Raspberry Cream (gluten-free), one Lucy (March seasonal, lime cheesecake), and one Irish Cream (chocolate, coffee, whiskey, cream). All the cookies are baked with different recipes so if you're also not a big cake cookie person like me, I recommend the Amby and the Raspberry Cream since they are more on the authentic cookie side. I would definitely get both of these again for myself. I wouldn't personally get the Snickerdudette again because the glaze was too sweet for me, or the Penelope as it was underwhelming even for the peanut butter lovers that I shared the box with. I'm really glad I stopped by and got to meet the nice ladies that run the store, who made great recommendations even when I admitted that I was skeptical because I'm not big on cake cookies. Don't show up on a full stomach like I did if you want to make sure you like the ones you pay for, and remember to check in on Yelp for 10% off your order!

The BEST cookie place in UT by far. Not too sweet like the other places and a wide range of tasty flavors. I’m always greeted kindly, and the shop is very cute. I highly recommend!

This shop is far from one of those huge factories, which makes it more inviting and warm. The smell is incredible once you walk through the doors, and the staff are friendly and extremely helpful. Thank you for the service you provided me today, especially as a doordasher.
