Chase was the man! As well as his buddy (can’t remember his name) but the staff was absolutely killer! Great vibes, great service and even better experiences! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a night filled with fun!

The drag shows are incredible, the queens are so talented and put on a great show. Just be weary of shady bartenders overcharging you for drinks if you’re paying with cash. One bartender in particular was charging me different amounts for the same basic drink I ordered throughout the night. I’m upset I didn’t notice until a few drinks in when I went to a different bartender who charged me the correct amount I was used to paying. I was tipping for each drink so there was no excuse to be overcharged.

I live in the neighborhood and I've been going there just about every weekend for the past year and a half. Overall fan of the staff, atmosphere, beer selection (I'm a beer guy) and events going on there. Usually found 2 seats from the left.If I do start at Urban Lounge for a show, I go to Blue Gene's next door to conclude my night.

Every time I walk into this magical place every Wednesday and Thursday, it's Karaoke with the most amazing groups of people/crowd who support and sing along.There is a table in the front corner where friends who dress like they are from the 80s rock Era who sing their hearts out and give a hell of a show! Not only that, but they support other singers. Karaoke is fun because most times, they enter you into a raffle where you get to win tickets ? to future shows in the year.Enjoy the energy because it's not a dive bar, it's definitely a JIVE BAR! A bar full of people who love you for you regardless of who you are. A Unicorn? Come in! An Alien with blueskin? Come in! Etc... Join the party! They invite everyone who enjoys the company of everyone.The energy is fun but the bartenders to the security is even better! They give you full attention regardless of the loudness of the speaker of the singers and they shake the mixer with love ❤️. Now that's a plus for me if it ain't for you. They all work together like Back in the future to bring another day in the future another better future for the customers and guest.Everyday they have a different night or theme like Friday nights are RU Paul's sit down and watch party with local drags, Saturdays are normally decades night but this weekend is the 34th anniversary of SLUG MAG ANNIVERSARY PARTY!✨️A-AMAZING✨️If you're ever in town to visit or stay in town Come down and sing a song or enjoy the watch party!Remember the names ALEC, TED, CHASE, DAVID AND KATIE and most of all BRADY and TYLER the ?'S of Blue Gene's Karaoke ? and the best weekday ? Dj's Alex and Sequoia! ?

Decorations are a little plain so it feels a bit plain not comfy. I'm giving it four stars because their KJ is awesome and they're close to downtown so if you live in the area super convenient karaoke.
