We loved this place! Such a great brunch spot. We tried another place in the area but the line was too long. We were able to get a table at sweet lake easily and had outdoor seating. Food and service were top notch. Definitely recommend!

Now with three locations including a frequently-packed space in Salt Lake City Hasen Cone’s Sweet Lake Biscuits & Limeaid is nothing short of a Utah landmark, the fact that everything on the menu is made from scratch less surprising than just how good the Biscuits actually are. Begun as a Limeade stand inside the Downtown Farmer’s Market, but now the sort of spot with an hour-plus Yelp! waitlist, guests visiting Sweet Lake will be greeted by friendly staff in a sparse room where the Limeaid Bar and partially-open Kitchen are in full focus. Rumored to serve the city’s best Fried Chicken, both that and the Limeaid saved for a later date, Sunday’s order included one “Biscuit Bar” topped with peppery Tooele Valley Sausage Gravy plus Sweet Lake’s “Strawberry Tall Cake” that sees plump and buttery Biscuits Sugar-shellacked amidst Fresh Cream and locally-grown Berries. Locally sourced whenever possible, a tall glass of Coldbrew Coffee earthy with mellow notes of Cocoa, it was while waiting that Sweet Lake Biscuits & Limeade’s story became all the more compelling thanks to a mission statement that pays employees real living wages while also giving back to the community through green policies.

My oh my! We were angling for a second visit yesterday before our flight east but the traffic gods were probably there imbibing extremely satisfying and refreshing limeade instead of minding the roads. We were happy not to feel like tourists on a recent Sunday morning when friendly staff indulged our desire for paper menus. The waitress confessed that almost every one was new (a recent expansion) and their good cheer made up for minor missteps. The biscuits! What is a word that means “more than perfect”? The hall smells like butter when you walk to the restroom. And the yogurt with fruit was far more varied than you usually see. And the limeade: my oh my!

This was a great find! About 10 minutes drive from Temple Square, street parking and a small lot in the back. Good service and delicious food! The Cubano sandwich was huge - very generous with the meat. The Garden Benedict was amazing - topped with a whole avocado (!), the biscuit was flaky and fluffy, and the hash was cooked well and not at all greasy. The french toast was also a big portion, and the nuts and berries were a great addition. The prices were very reasonable. Would absolutely eat here again!

I got the coconut chicken curry and, it honestly tastes like the stuff you can buy at the store. No spice, earthy or sweetness and served with steamed white rice instead of day basmati rice. The serving size is a small box so it's ok for a light lunch. It was warm and the service was really quick. The person running it was nice and wore a mask. It's good for a quick stop, but not authentic Indian food if that's what you're looking for.

Cool place! Great food! My go to place. The tikka masala chicken was full of flavour, but not very spicy.

We were quite excited to try Sweet Lake. The pictures of the food look delicious! We ordered the Hoss with hash browns and the egg over medium. The egg was barely cooked and the whole dish was a little dry. I asked for a side of gravy and Kelsey, the waitress, brought me a tiny bowl that probably had three tablespoons of gravy. I couldn't believe I was charged $2 for a few tablespoons of extra gravy! When I asked Kelsea about it, she responded, "Yey, man, it's inflation!" I wasn't impressed with her response or attitude. I give the food a B, but the staff not a good enough grade to return. And it was high priced and a bit dry.

My wife and I wanted to grab a hearty breakfast after landing in SLC for a ski trip. We found this on Trip Advisors and it did not disappoint. Delicious comfort food breakfast with very friendly and efficient staff. Excellent eggs over easy and eggs Benedict, accompanied by perfectly cooked breakfast potatoes and massive biscuits. Will definitely make this one of our regular stops. Highly recommended.

This place gets crazy busy and is small dining area. They do offer carry out. The habanero limeade is out of this world. Not killer hot - mild kick with raw sugar rim. Biscuits are ginormous! We got with half and half gravy as well as butter and raspberry jam. The power bowl salad is amazing - fresh berries, greens, nuts and seeds. Bring your appetite!

I've been going here weekly for a couple years now and it's great. I always get the veggie curry and garlic naan. It can be hard to find vegetarian options so I appreciate that.

I haven't eaten there and don't think I want to after seeing the food truck driving down the road with the driver smoking cigarettes inside. That's the equivalent of of someone smoking inside the kitchen of a restaurant. Disgusting!!!!!!

This restaurant was fabulous. The atmosphere was fun and the service friendly. But, most importantly, the food was creative and delicious. Everything is homemade and the hot chocolate and limeade were incredible. I highly recommend this restaurant, which is open on Sunday.

It was lunch time, but we got breakfast and boy were we glad we did. The blueberry biscuit bread pudding French toast was out of this world, especially with the added fruit and whipped cream. The biscuit, chicken, egg, gravy dish was also really good, with the special hash browns.

My Dad and I visited on a recent outing to SLC looking for a tasty breakfast one morning and Sweet Lake hit the spot for us. I had been craving eggs benedict for a few days prior, so I was pleased to find and order their version on the menu, and pleased at the dish delivered to the table. High quality ingredients and a superb taste profile make this a dish I would eat over and over if I lived closer.
