Yes, it can take some time for them to bring your food. And it's made from scratch, so sometimes it can taste differently than other times. But I have never had a problem with the food. It has always been muy rico! They did a remodel and the place is so much nicer. The reason for 3 stars was due to them charging a tip automatically without my consent. I'm a good tipper when I get good service. So they got my cash tip in the jar, and the one they snuck into my food total. Not good. Be careful and don't tip until after you pay.

They've made some changes recently, remodeling making it bigger and more spacious! They might have changed owners though, still food great!

The music was a tiny bit too loud...but I might just be old. Loved the asada tacos!

I like it so far. But honestly don’t try the “vuele a la vida” it didn’t have enough flavor. I preferred recommended the “campechana”

Probably the most authentic Mexican food you can get in Salt Lake City. Unlike other reviews, my food was served within 8 minutes of entering and it probably the best you can find in the salt lake area. Would recommend to anyone… again- very authentic!

This place is definitely worth a try! I got the street tacos with different types of meat (Al pastor, asada, chicken, lingua, and pulled pork). You can dress them yourself with onions, pico de gallo, limes, cilantro, and salsa at the front counter. The meat was delicious, my favorite was the asada. Some of the salsa was REALLY hot and I couldn't taste what I was eating - but what I did taste was great. The specialty here is seafood, there's a lot of shrimp and fish on the menu. You can order beer or michelada here, as well as a shot, but there are no margaritas or mixed drinks. Service is fast and friendly, the price is right, and the food is tasty!

Best tacos I’ve had in the US. And even better than most that I’ve had after traveling extensively through Mexico. Especially their marinated pork pastor tacos ??
