One of the best coffee destinations in town for a very curated coffee experience. The flavor profiles are fantastic, and the owner clearly cares about using the highest quality beans, creamers, etc. The location is perfectly situated downtown, with limited seating inside but generally enough space to sit.

Vegan Vagabond

I came here because I was feeling adventurous and it had no reviews or pictures. It's a small locally owned place on Main Street. I'd prefer to support a local owner than some chain. The vegan options on pastries are an oat bar. It was good, not great, but I appreciate the vegan option. The coffee was good. They have a large number of vinyl records that they play for background music. They also declare, "There is no WiFi or decaf in this place." I also particularly liked that I was not shaken down for a tip. I was rung up, I tapped my card, and that was it (sorry, the tip shake down is a personal peeve). If you are near here, it's a good place for a coffee. I wouldn't recommend driving across town for it. There are likely other options closer to you. Updated from previous review on 2024-03-27

Tiny, bougie coffee shop. The kind of place that tells you where the beans come from and have two different drip coffees available to choose from if you are low maintenance and just want a cup of coffee.

Great coffee drinks. Service was cold but capable. Milk steaming was not bad but textural issues.

If you are attending a conference at the Salt Palace and you like espresso, Three Pines is not to be missed. I visited twice this week, the first day I had banana bread and their Stereo Blend espresso. The bread was flavorful and fresh. Hearty. The espresso was delicious. The second day I had the lemon loaf and their Honduras single origin. The lemon loaf was moist, lemony and satisfying. After a palate cleansing sip of sparkling water, I moved to the espresso. WOW! Citrus up front, followed by some almond, ending with a chocolate-covered almond finish. This was the best espresso I've had outside my home in a long time.

Yes, yes, and more yes! They serve Heart Coffee from Portland! Great choice! Love connections of awesome coffee places in different states. Light roast amazingness. Single origin prevalence. Enjoyment

Please bring back the nut milk … plus you are always out of cashew milk which leaves us with very limited options. Otherwise incredible coffee shop!

Really good coffee and excellent cappuccino but the workers were super rude and seemed to be actively inconvenienced by having customers. If I lived nearby I'd get some to go regularly but definitely a frigid dine in experience.

Honestly SLC has a long way to go on coffee. This place has a better menu and set up than most others at least but my cortado was very big and milky, no flavor other than milk. Craving the real thing.

Super nice people and cute place! There is minimal seating but a few great window seats to people-watch while doing laptop work. I'll get the 8oz next time because I barely tasted the coffee for 12oz.

Cute, quaint little cafe. The menu is simple and not too overwhelming. I only ordered coffee drinks, but they do have some cookies and pastries. My friend commented that the iced coffee seemed a little bitter. Other than that, the service was quick and the cafe looked clean.

The music is a little loud for me personally, but the coffee is the best I've had anywhere in my 15 years of drinking coffee. And I love the business model that they are promoting. The people that work there are great and always do a fabulous job thank you!
