The ramen was great, and the prices reasonable.

Best Ramen in the city. The broths are intricate, the noodles silken, the added ingredients perfectly done. Best place to get takoyaki too.

The food here is good but expensive. I think it used to be better. There is no atmosphere, and the service was okay but not friendly. Hours are sporadic, so catching them open is hit or miss.

The appetizers were good, we ordered the chicken teriyaki and spring rolls. Chicken tasted great but the portion was a little small even for an app, the spring rolls were nice and crispy. The tonkotsu ramen was just okay. The broth could've been more flavorful and they only give you half an egg which seems a little stingy. But overall a decent bowl of ramen for $13. The atmosphere inside is very simple. Cheap chairs and tables and no artwork or decor on the walls. The service was good and food came out quickly. Overall I'd come back and try more dishes but this won't be a regular spot for me.

If you're yearning for the authentic taste of Top Ramen, then this place is a must-visit. The ramen was beyond bland, with absolutely no seasoning to speak of. The noodles were disgustingly mushy, reminiscent of the overcooked mess you find in a packet of cheap instant ramen. Despite my explicit request to hold the egg, they somehow managed to heap extra egg onto my dish, and then had the audacity to blame me for their mistake! As if that wasn't enough, they sneakily altered the tip amount on the bill. I wouldn't set foot in this establishment again if my life depended on it. Honestly, I'm baffled by the countless 5-star reviews this place receives because my experience was nothing short of a disaster.TL;DR: If you're a fan of tasteless ramen and enjoy being cheated out of your hard-earned money, this is the place for you.

Normally I'm a big fan of this place, but I had a really bad experience where I got charged for something I did not receive and they basically told me "too bad." I have probably spent $2,000 at this place in the last couple of years and this was over a $40 order. And, as long as I'm on a roll, they need fried rice on the menu.

I tried the curry ramen and it was great! My son tried the tonkotsu one and it was also delicious. We had to wait to be seated, but the wait was worth it.Definitely going back to try their other dishes next time.

I’m from out of town but come to salt lake often. I’ve been to a lot of cities and get ramen frequently. The spicy pork ramen is the best ramen I have ever had. This place is a must every time I’m in town and I usually come more than once per trip. Just a heads up parking can be tough at night but it is worth the walk/wait

Tosh’s is hands down our favorite place for ramen in Salt Lake. They also have a newer, second location in Holladay that is just as good. I tend to order the Karai, with extra noodles and extra shiitake mushrooms. Inside the spicy broth of the Karai, the shiitake are wonderfully sweet. My wife’s favorite is the Curry Ramen (also love it myself, but when we dine together I know I’ll get to finish her bowl too). It has such a thick broth it almost qualifies as a curry beef stew, with baby bok choy and tender breaded pork cutlet. She likes to also order a side of white rice to dunk spoonfuls into the rich broth.Parking: Salt Lake location has a small, narrow lot but usually 1 or 2 spots available. Can park on the street if needed. Holladay has a large shared lot.

Used to be my favorite ramen but the quality has just gone down dramatically, especially in the service. Called in a takeout order and they said it would be 45 min, when I got there they said another 15, then they admitted they must have given our order to someone else and it would be even longer before it was done. I asked how they’d make it right and they said I could either wait or they’d refund the food and I’d leave with nothing. So disappointing for a restaurant where I’ve been a regular for years.Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly because the service has gotten so bad.

I've been here several times, but this is my first review for Tosh's. The first few times, I was just so happy to get real ramen, so I wasn't being judgy. Now good ramen is easier to find, and SLC has some great options. Tosh's is still a solid choice, but the obsessive attention to detail is gone, and we are left with good simple ramen. The noodles are excellent, and there are non-traditional options for those of you that don't actually like ramen or think that gluten is the devil. I had the miso ramen this time, which was nice, but light on miso flavor...more like 80% tonkotsu, 20% miso. I got extra chashu, and I'd say don't bother...better to get an extra eggcellent egg. I got nori, and it must not be a popular pick, cuz it was stale. The menma was yummy! I'm not sure if I will go back...it might be worth the drive to Draper for a better bowl.

OG. This place is legendary. Before you could even get ramen in Salt Lake City this place was serving up some of the best ramen I have ever had in my life outside of Japan.
