Van Ryder offers a breathtaking sunset view and a fantastic atmosphere for hanging out with friends. The food, especially the tuna tartare and calamari, is exceptional, and the cocktails are delicious. However, one significant drawback is the excessively loud music, making it difficult to hear anyone else. Despite our request for a solution, the server's response was dismissive. Therefore, I can only give it 4 stars. I urge management to consider lowering the volume, as it detracts from an otherwise enjoyable experience.

Wow! This place is amazing. First of all the view is wonderful. Such an amazing experience eating with that amazing view. Food was delicious, I loved my plate! I had the firecracker, I love the flavors and the place that I chose was recommended by MARIA. Her services was awesome! I definitely recommend you to visit Van Ryder, try the FIRECRACKER and ask for Maria to be your server.

Great spot with a great view of salt lake! Maria was the best server and super on top everything! She was very helpful and made sure that our night out went smoothly!Would recommend for sunset or a couple of drinks before a wedding or special occasion too!

Me and my friend are excited to try this Rooftop bar so we did walk in on a Friday night 8:45 Pm not that busy. Food is great ambiance is good as well but the service is awful me and my friend ate here and we had our server Tommy we waited for a bit before he took our food order and drinks. The food came out first before the drinks. The food runner Antonio is great but our server Tommy is not so good never asked if our food is okay if we needed anything else never check on us. I have to stand up and ask him for our dessert order but he said he think that kitchen is close already if he came by and ask us ahead of time if we need anything else maybe we can get those desserts on time before the kitchen close!! Waited for a long time for the bill check out and he added 20% service charge automatically for party of 2 ??? It’s okay to add 20% Gratuity for bigger parties 6 person above but for party of 2 with a lousy service I don’t think that’s fair. I work in a restaurant industry for years so i don’t want to complain but this is wrong service I think he needs to be trained again.

I beg you to read the reviews! The view is absolutely stunning and wait staff amazing! The host that checks reservation was so rude and unprofessional. The food was cold my lobster Mac and cheese had no cheese! It was just cold noodles! I will not return, even though the views at sunset were absolutely breath taking. Come here for the ambiance & view.The drinks are substandard. Tried the Blood Moon & the orange ameliorated the flavor.The food is subpar & would be imprudent to pay that price for it.The security or manager was very communicative & made the setting more inviting. The bartenders were busy which caused for miniscule things to happen such as forgetting straws in drinks.
