Rice bowls and tacos are my favorite. When you get a rice bowl ask for the super sauce it's awesome.

I have ordered a lot of stuff from this place, but I tell you what, don't forget about their soup! I love the steak soup with extra steak, extra corn, rice, and a side of chili lemongrass sauce to mix in. So good!

Great food, the employees were funny and helped select the three taco plate. Great the spicy ?️ sauce and you won’t regret it. The location is fine, especially for a downtown Salt Lake City restaurant. Loads of parking and we went during lunch rush hour for a take out order and wasn’t an issue whatsoever. Definitely recommend eating here if you’re looking for something new while visiting Salt Lake City. It’s a local chain that never fails to deliver customers great food!

I got the tacos with steak, tofu, and meatballs. Loved the meatballs—flavorful and juicy and different. Also appreciated the sharp, fresh flavors of the toppings like the daikon and carrots and cilantro. Steak wasn’t my favorite as it had a weird texture on the top. The tofu was well cooked and delicious. The yellow curry sauce was good, too. The tacos I felt were a bit too stuffed, it was little hard to eat them. My friend got the Yakisoba noodles with teriyaki sauce and loved it; gets it most times they go to Zao’s. The sauce leaks if the bowl tips, so just know the lid isn’t leak-proof.

Visited for the first time in a few years and was pretty disappointed. The food was bland and the noodles were watery. Not the Zao food I remember. Too bad.

We like Zao's to begin with, but we used their catering service and it was awesome! Had 80 people at our house - Zao's came and set everything up, providing everything needed to make and eat their bowls, including warming trays and utensils. Most of our guests were from out of town and had never had Zao's before and they all loved it. Their catering specialist, Keira, was great to work with too. Next time we need catering, we'll go back to Zao's for sure.

Ok on this type of food...more selection in veggies especially broccoli without onion and more sauce selection would be awesome, for example there wasn't even mayonnaise. Good for a quick lunch, but limited options so take for what it is. Not wheelchair friendly, however there is plenty of parking and takeaway is an option...staff rushed and not particularly friendly, but efficient.Dietary restrictions: We're GF options, however if you have other allergies they were not clearWheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair accessible friendly

Yummy Asian fusion place. My favorite is their soup with meatballs and rice noodles. I also really like their rice bowls with the yellow curry sauce. If you like Thai food, you will enjoy this place, even though it is not traditional Thai at all.Vegetarian options: Their tofu is delicious! I'm not even vegetarian, but I get it as my protein here.

I was here with a couple of colleagues. I had the bowl with rice and chicken. The food was clean and neatly prepared. Neat looking staff and well prepared food. Great ambience and price is very reasonable. Would 100% recommend!
