“Mar 2024 - Remy was super helpful and personable, even with the unique needs of our group. Amazing service! ?Mar 2023 - Bella was very pleasant and helpful. Give her a raise! ?Jan. 2023 - Waiter Brandi was amazing and caring.2019 - Katie in the bar area is super on top of things. ?“
“Our server was excellent! The food was very good too! I got a taco plate which had a chicken taco, a sweet pork taco, and shredded beef taco. I think I like the shredded beef taco the best because of the spices they put in it. My daughter-in-law got a sweet pork burrito with a cream sauce on top. She said it was very good. We will definitely be going back.“
“An update! My friend and I hosted our 70th birthdays here and it was the best decision ever! Vicki and her team are just wonderful. Everyone had a great time. It felt like "home" ! All the positive reviews say it better than I can. Shhhhh Let's just keep this gem of a tap room our secret!!!!A really fun place and the food is very good with excellent brand of gluten-free bread!“
“Fantastic donar bowls, medi mix bowls, and other bowls. We love all of the food selections that we've tried and all of the proteins are wonderfully seasoned. This is our go-to place when we need a meal that isn't too heavy but is filling and tasty.Vegetarian options: Multiple vegetarian options availableDietary restrictions: Gluten free choices available“
“Love the food! Love the service! Love the prices! Love the vibe! Super low key. Well maintained, clean, and service is fast and friendly! Generally have some daily specials. Don't skip out on brunch. They have a great Bloody Mary! Love the patio! Can't gush enough about Crow.“
“Delicious, spiced, and fatty skewers. Get the beef four times, the lamb twice, the pork fat twice. Don't forget the mushrooms! Chinese BBQ cuisine brought straight from the night markets of Xi'an to West Valley City. Really. _Get only the skewers_. If you drink, add a beer or one of their unique cocktail styles. Get nothing else. Their barbecued skewers is legit. I don't know why the owners keep adding and diluting their menu choices with boring American-Chinese fare like Broccoli and Orange Chicken. Do they not realize how good their skewers are? That their restaurant can stand with just their barbecued meats? Stop trying to be a generic Chinese restaurant. Stick with the dream of serving the best BBQ sticks in the valley. Don't muddle what your restaurant is about. Be proud. Be unique. We'll do our part and eat just your delicious meat skewers.“
“Such a fun and amazing place! We went for brunch and ended up trying a lot on both their dinner and brunch menu. The service is outstanding! Our server, Kimmy did a great job suggesting food and drinks. She knew the menu well and her recommendations were perfect. Everything we ordered was excellent! Our group of six ordered the Venison Bruschetta and Lollipop Gams to start. Then the Hammer and Saws, the Alfred "O", the Lemon Ricotta French Toast, the Bourbon Caramel French Toast, the Biscuits and Gravy and the Benny's Beignets. Needless to say, we were stuffed when we left. The cocktails were all great too! Our experience was over the top from the moment we walked in. We will definitely be going back soon!“
“I stay often at the Hyatt Place, a hotel that shares the same parking lot as the Elixir Lounge.I've had the opportunity to visit on multiple occasions, and I highly recommend it. It's a family-owned establishment where two generations of owner/daughter take excellent care of their customers.Kaylee has waited on me several times. She's always quick to smile, make me feel welcome, and remembers my order -- which is a tall task because I'm a bit high maintence with how I like my Woodford Old Fashioneds.I highly recommend this to anyone in the area!“
“Great place with great atmosphere! The beer selection is pretty stellar and service is always good. The only downside is that it seems like on big game days the quality of the food goes down. Have had burnt pizza or underdone nachos on a couple of occasions, but I guess it comes with the crowds.“
“Very interesting flavor combinations, ingredients, and great service. I would certainly dine there again if I were a local. I had the grilled elk loin and my dining partner had the braised SRF pork shank. We shared the blistered shishitos and crispy fresh duck rolls as appetizers. Also shared the olive oil cake and coconut panna cotta desserts. Enjoyed them all!“
“We love our Spitz location. It's a really fun atmosphere and always very clean. I often try different things from the menu and have yet to try something I didn't like. Everything I've had so far is fresh and super flavorful! I 100% recommend.“
“I’ve met a lot of cool people over the years here, everyone is always really friendly here, and it’s always a great vibe. It’s worth anyone’s time to check out. Karaoke is 7 nights a week which is really unique for a bar and it never fails to be a great time. That guy Bucket at the front has a nice smile.“
“We are back for another night of APA pool league and you know how I feel about the burger game here... it's solid... EASILY my favorite and I've been to some great spots... the did NOT disappoint! Very exceptional food again! The gent behind the bar must have walked 20,000 steps during the busy Wednesday night. Great music, good people and great service by this one man band with a kitchen crew of 2... Had a night cap with 6 buffet wings... hot, good meat, with blue cheese!?!? Dang!“
“This is our go to when my husband and I go out for date night. All the workers are so nice, their drinks are always spot on. They're quick even when it's packed. And even their food is delicious. Although if I'm honest I've only had it after like 4 or 5 drinks so. Make of that what you will. ?? Totally recommend this place.“
“Bandits' Grill and Bar is in a very nice location in the Cottonwood area, a little bit up the mountain. There is quite a bit of parking available in the front of the building. There is a separated bar area right when you walk in and even more seating past the bar. I've only sat in the bar for the half off appetizers they hold weekly on Wednesday's.All of their food has always been quality! There has only been one time where my steak was not cooked correctly, but they fixed that immediately. The prime rib is one of my favorite dishes there and is many other's favorite as well. There aren't many places that offer quality prime rib, but Bandit's is one of them that aren't crazy overpriced and the quality is still just as high! The original reason Nik and I started coming to Bandits' was actually because of the half off appetizers. The loaded nachos are very much LOADED. The tri-tip tacos are juicy and stuffed as well. The wings are nicely barbequed and sauced up. The skewered shrimps are also very nicely cooked and has that smokey flavor. The amount of food given in just the appetizers could be the size of an entrée for many, including myself. The service has always been fast, correct, and efficient. I've never had a problem with the service and my experience there has always been a relaxing and fun one! Overall, the food, place, and service are top tier and is one of my favorite places to go, especially on WEDNESDAYS!“
“The best garlic burger I’ve had. While the menu and burgers are simple, they are soo good! You’ll be back for more! They often have live music and fun outdoor seating with mood lighting, so the vibes are phenomenal.Parking: The parking lot is small, but sufficient for the business.“
“The atmosphere outside was much better than inside. The inside kind of dark with a low ceiling, and all of the regulars, well.. it was better outside. Outside we enjoyed the food, the cold beer, and great service. Having some finger food of cheese curds was great and was also dog friendly outside. Great service outside as well.“
“Ok y'all, hear me out. This place isn't the fanciest, but that's what makes it great. They cook up a steak sexier than a summer dress on a windy day. The char makes you want to run out into the street and yell a high pitched "yeah" at the top of your lungs. The menu is so reasonably priced, and the portions so large, you'll struggle not leaving a larger tip than you normally would. Know what you're getting yourself into, Post 71 is full of "regulars", so you may get an up and down look as an outsider, but the staff are as friendly as can be and will make sure you are well taken care of. Sadly, I missed the memo that the André the Giant worthy T-bone steak is only served on Saturdays and requires a two day in advance RSVP. If you want a good solid meal that won't break the bank, come over and support Post 71.“
“Went for St Patrick's and it was a blast! This place will be great for sporting events but for St Patrick's they had the firefighters bagpipe band come by and it was amazing! Food was great (tried the sampler) and the beer selection is pretty good. Plan to return to this place soon.“
“Stopped in again today for food Saturday afternoon. Same situation with awkward parking and gruff bouncer, but as it was a bit slower I got great service and all my questions answered. The place is still the same, but as I asked about burgers they let me in with drink and burger order (12$ total, 8$ for burger and 4$ for soda). No root beer or creme soda, so I got sprite again. There were two dancers and three patrons, only one of which was watching (from the bar). As before the dancers here are the most fun and though it was hard to hear, the chatting is nice. The burger arrived hot and fresh, and with tons of good fries and with fry sauce. The first bite was tasty. The ingredients seemed to be all good, except that the cheese was heavily processed and the bun was a bit stale. As I write this now, I feel a little ill, so I probably won't get it again, but it didn't diminish my short visit today so I still recommend this place as the best small strip club in SLC.“
“I love the Midway! The employees are ALWAYS friendly but the service has been slow lately with a lot of new staff. All the bar tenders have been there a while and are AMAZING!!Parking: Watch out for the big pot hole near the handicap parking.“
“We're here for pool league tonight. Three tables, a little tilted but good felt, springy bumpers and fast. No food as the place is going through a multiple phased renovation. The kitchen is currently under construction so no food to review tonight. The bartender is very good. He can mix drinks and provides a nice pour from the tap. He comes around occasionally to see if we need anything. Very service oriented and kind. There are a number of regulars at the bar and 9 flat screens playing NCAA and NBA hoops... March Madness y'all! Next time I'll have to review the food and the renovations. So far I'm having fun, good tunes on the jukebox. I gave a 4 star because of the good people I've met here. Due just brought his Pit in. Must be dog friendly.“
“VFW posts are well known for being very supportive of veterans and this post is no exception. They run an open bar, non-veterans are welcome, and you don’t need to be a BFW member to have a drink there. Drinks are very cheap, the bartenders are friendly and fast, you can run a tab with a credit card, and they have pretty good bands most weekends. This is not a fancy bar. I was there with some other vets and it was very friendly. I recommend it.“
“Grace is the best bartender ever! Even though this is more of a place to go to in the evening, it was a solid brunch spot. We had the chicken and waffles & boy o boy it was just amazing! We also had the Nachos with ground beef to share which was spectacular.“
“I met a friend here and stayed for only a short time (30-45 min) but while I was here I had a great experience with the waitress and other patrons who were sitting near our table, watching a game on TV. My experience here was very positive and I'll be going back sometime to stay for longer and be able to try the food and get a better feel for everything.“
“This is a fun place to hang out, we had a hockey tournament party and they were very accomodating to let us come in with a large group and kind of take over. Pizza is excellent and a wide selection of beer and spirits. I'll be back soon I hope!“
“If you’re looking for high end gourmet tacos this is your place! They’re too high priced to be regular street tacos. I got the tilapia fish tacos and it was yummy ? Had some tasty avocado type sauce with a big piece of tilapia and lime. The nacho fries were top notch. Everything you’d expect with cheese, greens, pico and I think a tiny of mango! Definitely try if you’re looking for something new. The tacos are a little more expensive than a regular place so be prepared to pay for it if you’re hungry.“
“This place used to be my favorite Mexican spot. I'm sad to see that it has gone downhill. Staff, while polite, were rather unprofessional (playing on their phones, seemingly annoyed that they had customers, short and cold communication, etc). The decor was all covered in a thick layer of dust. The food was lackluster. The only thing sadder than not caring enough to stay for dessert was the "Best Margherita" award from over 20 years ago displayed proudly over the bar. Do better Tres Hombres. You used to rock.Edit**Fantastic response from the team here. I've adjusted the rating accordingly. Love the engagement and actions taken. I'm looking forward to my next visit.“
“My first experience with Mediterranean food and the bar has been set pretty high. I got a Beef and Lamb Gyro with pita strips and hummus. It's so good ?. And for those of you who don't really like hummus, neither did I. But the hummus there is different than the store-bought attempts I've tried before. Give it a shot. It may be better than you thought.Vegetarian options: Many of the foods on the menu can be made vegan or vegetarian at no cost that I know of.“
“Love sea food it was ok. Was not happy with the way the lobster was cooked. Need better service. Great location. I left my old review on this one. They have improved and service was good lobster was cooked better If you are a meat lover Filet is good.“
“Braxton! My Homie, My brotha from a anotha motha! Super awesome and fun experience. He was very attentive and personable. Kept asking me about my home and family and how I liked the place. "What a Guy!!!" The beer was great, the food was spectacular!!!! I'll definitely be back here. ! Thank you Braxton for the Bamf memories.“
“Wonderful! First time there, primarily for the Mariachi performing group (Tuesdays 6-8). They were fantastic! It can be a little loud, but heh... they performed their first number for the entire restaurant, then proceeded to go around to the different tables and, if requested, perform a special number for the people at that table or booth. We found the food to be quite good as well. Service was perfectly fine. It can be difficult to hold conversations while they are singing, so next time, we might get there at maybe 530, enjoy our food and chat, and then enjoy the performing group for however long we like. Highly recommend this place for the excellent food and for the Mariachi band on Tuesday evenings.“
