Adorable. Local family business, they are so so so passionate about their craft. they served us the most delicious tacos on tortillas that were still warm because they had made them from scratch minutes ago. this is an absolute hidden gem and a must try if you're in the area.

I loved visiting and eating at the house of corn. Not only was the food delicious, it is thoughtfully prepared. The restaurant is laid back, family friendly, and decorated with cute posters that are educational and share their story. I love that they were trying to invite us into their "why". The staff was kind, accommodating, and efficient.

This counter service restaurant is delicious! I went when they were very busy and the food was fast. I appreciated the clean and fresh salsa bar, great pico! I had Carnitas street tacos and the black tortillas added an authentic surprise. Their portions are large and I was not disappointed. It is a place I would recommend, even on a busy Saturday!

Heard about this place from a friend so we had to try it. We were able to watch them make fresh tortillas the day we were there. They have a great selection of meats for the street tacos as well as other traditional Mexican foods. The meat was plentiful on the tacos and the tamale had a great meat to masa ratio. You are able to choose your salsa spice level. Place was clean and the people were great. Worth a visit.

This place is THE BOMB. My husband and I saw a TikTok video and decided to try it the same day. My family is from Veracruz and this is how they make their tortillas and nothing really compares. They had great customer service, it was quick, and DELICIOUS. This is my new favorite Mexican food restaurant in Utah. Definitely would recommend to anyone!

If a menu could catfish, this would be it.First, let me get this out of the way, we ordered and brought the food home so it wasn't hot off the grill. Now that that's out of the way, let's get to the review in easy to understand bullets.* The menu pictures make the food look like the Mexican version of The French Laundry - it's well, not quite there. * The food is dry. Breads. Tortillas. Meats. If it's food, it's dry. * The meats are salty. Maybe just a bad night?* The coke is water down. Need to open that syrup tap up one-quarter twist to the left. Need to give it another try. Going to chalk this one up to the food having a fifteen minute trip from the restaurant to my house.

I stopped in Saturday for lunch. Ordered the three tacos meal. Salsa bar looked promising. Tried out the spicy one, see photo. No flavor in the meat. It tastes like nothing. I think the meal was $13. It's never great to have flavorless food but it hurts even more when it isn't inexpensive. The 2nd and 3rd taco came apart as the corn tortilla had got soggy. Other places double up on the corn tortillas. Either way, with no flavor in the meat what is the point? I love hot sauces but this lack of flavor was the Twilight Zone for me. I wish them well.If you want some good tacos, keeping looking.

Sorry- not great. Good amount of meat, but the tortillas were dry. Didn't love the rolled tacos- saving grace was the condiment bar with pickled onions, pico, salsas and cucumber, radish and lime.

Great authentic Mexican food. Everything is homemade including the tortillas. I had the enchilada platter and my wife had a three taco sampler and loved all of them. We’ll be back!!

House of corn is a great place! We have been multiple times. We have had almost every item on their menu and each time we have it, it is delicious. Their food is flavorful, fresh, piping hot, and delicious. I throughly enjoyed my birria tacos. Their prices are a bit high. I understand in this economy, it's tough. The tacos are always generous and they have a great salsa bar, my comment is specifically about the price and portion size of the rice and beans. This is my husband's favorite place and he always asks for it.

I love it when a restaurant I've never been to hooks me up with the best menu choices. House of Corn advised us on the menu, answered our questions, and then put together an incredible order that allowed us to taste lots of menu items. Their salsa bar is awesome as well. I'm excited to bring my whole family back.

I was excited about a taco place in Sandy but we weren't super impressed. They have good signage and it's easy to find them tucked in the back of a nondescript shopping center. The restaurant itself was spacious and well-decorated but there were supplies and boxes out and it seemed messy and unprofessional. The front-end employees are young student-age kids and they were talking loudly about their work environment and colleagues instead of keeping busy. The food was also not great. Tortillas were soggy and not very flavorful. The employee recommended the picadillo, which I was excited about as someone with Cuban grandparents, but it was more like a corned beef hash flavor and did not wow. The rice and beans were blah and not flavorful. I wish I could've reported a better review but it wasn't very good food or service-wise and I don't think we'll be back.

I have no idea where these stars are coming from, go to gualbertos for way better and you can spend way less. The food was way too over cooked and hard, not even edible!! I had no idea that they made tamale jerky because that is what they have here. The tacos dorados should be tacos durados. They were so over cooked they were not even edible. The chairs were dirty. Stay far away from this place and go somewhere else!! The meat was flavorless. The fried tacos tasted like burned oil. We are now headed home to eat dinner.

I had the Birria plate. Meat was tasty and the consomé was pretty solid. I'm used to spicier Birria so I would say it's more on the mild side. Either way, very tasty and they were quick to fulfill the meal. I think we had our food in 5 minutes. We went with a group of friends and they all had solid reviews for their meals too including Al pastor tacos, rolled tacos (taquitos), rice & beans. Want me to critique something? They were out of diet soda and the tortillas break apart a little bit.

Really good Mexican food and a nice laid back vibe. Been a few times now and it's better than a lot of top rated Mexican I've been to in the salt lake valley.
