It has been about 2 years since I have been here. It used to be a regular lunch spot for us untill I started a job that made this place to far to travel to.Came back today and I am not sure of the owners have changed, although something has. My regular order is no longer an option and what was the best hot and sour soup anywhere was a disappointment. I miss the old friendly and awesome food of the past.My server was awesome though, he was kind and friendly.

When I walked into Mandarin Garden, I wasn't sure what to expect, but appearances can be deceiving: This chef can COOK.When I picked up my Orange Chicken and General Tsao's chicken lunches. I got those, because those are easy to get right, and if they can get the basics right, then it's a good indication that the rest of the menu probably is pretty good.I am now a believer that the good people at Mandarin Garden can make profanity-inducingly good Chinese food.Superb. I honestly look forward to the next time, even if the spring rolls were a bit on the soggy side for me.

We've been regulars for years. After the ownership change, we noticed the food was close but not the same as prior. We keep coming and were pleased when we came in to find it was as great as before. The green beans and chicken is to die for!

Food is definitely not worth the price. Quantity is good but flavor is bad. If you ever been on a farm the food tastes the way dirty stalls smell. The little kid that sat us and took our order was cute.

Bad food and bad service. I understand that being short staffed can be hard but actively avoiding talking to customers is not a staffing issues but a management issue. Food was horrible as well. One and done.

We visited last night, after a handful of times over the past few months. Overall, it’s a good Chinese American restaurant with some winners on the menu. We love their gyoza, and the standard chicken & beef dishes. The Szechuan green beans (and any variation thereof) are great. Value is fantastic! Most entrees are priced around $11-12 which can each be shared between two people. By ordering two entrees with rice we can easily have two separate meals out of this for us both. This time we sat wondering whether management/ownership had changed? Service was bumbling overall … we waited quite a while after we were seated and given drinks. The busser finally ended up asking if we’d ordered yet, and said they’d get somebody to come take the order for us. The girl who had seated us returned to take our order, and two minutes later somebody else came out of the kitchen to do the same, but we told them it had already been given. Then another two minutes after that they came back together and took the order anew. We were confused as to what was going on.Suspiciously soon after ordering, we were given our food. Last night for sake of exploring the menu a bit we had the bobo platter, curry chicken, and pork with green beans. The bobo platter was a good value, with a pair of several classic appetizers. My wife was turned off by the curry chicken, its meat seemed unnaturally tender as if it were some kind of chicken byproduct processed twice over … a texture akin to the infamous McRib that’s essentially formed from molded gluten as I understand. For me it wasn’t a turnoff, but certainly odd. The pork with green beans was excellent. We do plan to return in the next two or three weeks, hopefully last night was just a bad night for them.

Good food. But, order was missing the ordered and paid-for egg rolls.

Bland. The most colorful seasonings being salt and pepper. The smell was a little concerning as well. Some of it smelled of pee. Probably won't return.

Nice, mid-grade Chinese food. Don’t expect to be knocked off your socks, but the pricing is worthy of the product, too.

The reviews we read didn’t match our Saturday dining experience. We went in at 5:30 PM and we were the only diners. For the first 45 minutes we had to put up with the two screaming kids from the owner running around the place..The server lacked experience. He piled all the dishes on my wife!s side, and I had to constantly remind him not to do so.The Wonton soup was loaded with pepper. The chicken vegetable dish was way too salty! We asked for a redo and it was much better, yet lacked the promised vegetables. The Happy Family dinner lacked the promised fish and shrimp.Moral of the story, reviews don’t always tell the truth.Moral of the story, avoid this place!Dietary restrictions: Don’t load your food with salt! The Chicken vegetable dish should have vegetables
