This place is just okay definitely not worth coming back to for us and it's way expensive. They charge $7 for a kids meal . $7 for a kids spaghetti that comes from a box and also the same for the Mac and cheese. It was fine foor a one time thing but definitely would not go back and there was also hair attached to the towels they give you that they wrap the utensils in .

Tin Roof Grill is one of those restaurants that you drive up and the outside appearance is deceiving. The open seating concept is awesome, however we made reservations which are recommended. The food is “ to die for” and the service is quick and friendly. Heaven the Goat Cheese Appetizer, you’ll be glad you did!!

Well established at this location for years. Large variety of great food. Staff was quick and friendly. The food was delicious. We went for lunch. It was probably at three-fourths capacity, but it was easy to have a conversation.

The place was packed on a Saturday evening. Even so, our food came out reasonably on time, and our cups never were empty for long. The food is delicious too! Recommend the pulled pork pizza and adding a side of blue cheese to put on top of it ? ? ?

With a price tag of $25+tip for bacon pancakes and coffee I just expected more. The only good item I had was the fresh fruit. The bacon was a bit undercooked in sections but still somehow tough and very greasy as none of the excess oil had been wiped off. The pancakes lacked flavor were very flat and somewhat chewy. I will not be returning or recommending this restaurant to anyone.

I found Tin Roof Grill because it was in a Top 5 Places to Try in Sandy list. It was highly recommended, and several reviews raved about the food. No question, it's a popular restaurant. The parking lot is often packed and it can be tough to find an open table. I may have set my expectations too high, but I thought the food was just okay.Brianne, our server, took good care of us and made sure our drinks were always full. The atmosphere is awesome, and even though it's a compact space, it works well for what Tin Roof Grill has created. My buddy ordered the croquettes and I tried one, and those were a no for me. They're like an overindulgent tater tot (unlike Napoleon Dynamite, I don't like tots). I ordered the BBQ chicken pizza, and the pizza itself was good and filling, but the chicken was dry and I would've preferred it not be on there. I stole a bite of a BBQ bacon and cheddar burger, and it was good, but no better than a burger from a lesser joint. I also wasn't a huge fan of the seasoning on the fries, which depressed me because visually they're gorgeous. Ultimately, my taste buds just don't vibe with the kitchen, but it's not because it's bad food. I respect the skill of the chefs and the crowd this place attracts. Overall, it's just not for me.

The food was good, but there was a butter wrapper in a croquette. We asked for ketchup for our fries twice. We finally got it when we were done eating.

Absolute trash. Don't waste your money. Our food was very unappetizing. Not to mention it was mad expensive. Don't. Come. Here.
There is no way this is the same food Guy Fieri ate. My party of 4 all ordered at the same time but two entrees came a good 10-15 minutes before the rest. I ordered the ribeye for $24 which did seem kind of cheap for a ribeye so I should’ve been suspicious at that. The ribeye was maybe 1/4” at most and tasted like a hamburger. I asked for it medium rare and it came out well done (probably due to the thinness). My husband insisted I send it back. The second steak was still close to well done and had a weird taste to it. They did take it off my check and offer me free cheesecake, but at that point my appetite was completely gone. My husband and aunt ordered the bacon and shrimp Mac and cheese which I will say was pretty good, but nothing I couldn’t have made at home. The other member of our party got the baked hallock which was one of the last entrees to come out, only to be lukewarm and under seasoned. The server was hard to get a hold of but when it came to pay, she sat there just watching impatiently while we calculated the tip and checked out! Also parking sucked. All in all not the best experience. Went to Cheesecake Factory afterwards lol

The experience here was really fun and lively. The food was amazing and the chef came out to say hello and check on us, the other staff was very friendly and enjoyable to talk to. The prices were very reasonable and the quality of food was very impressive. I wish the place was a bit bigger but that's not a big deal at all. I've definitely told many people to try this place if you haven't tried it and to go back and try another amazing dish.

This place used to be a gem now it's a bit relaxed and so is the service. Cocky servers at times don't know how to acknowledge a customer who's been waiting over 10 mins to get their attention. The steak was good. My meal was ok but most importantly the service was barely average. Let me one thing clear this place has pretty good entrees and menu options but they need to step it up on friendliness and attentiveness. Dismissive demeanor on making service your 1st priority is lame. Turn it around, Tin Roof, please. You could be so much better.

Waited not too long to get a table. Completely ignored after we got the table. No water, no acknowledgement of any kind. The burger we got down the way was delicious!
