Not sure what happened to this place, it was our favorite Wendy’s, we usually hit it on our way out of town to go camping! I’ve had food with hair in it, rotten salad, the burgers taste like they have been sitting in a warmer for hours and the buns are always stale! The jr bacon has been my favorite since I was a kid! Not to mention this place is filled with super annoying highschool kids that act like preschoolers, do not go here during lunch if you want a chill place to eat on work lunch! This isn’t a couple of visits, it’s over 10+ plus since I started working Smithfield about a year ago!

I'm going to give my review from today in a second. I stopped coming here because just like everybody else in the negative reviews recently, the afternoon / evening shift is the reason that I stopped coming. For every reason that everybody else is complaining. But I was in a rush and Wendy's was open today. I went around to the drive-thru and got my food late this morning around 11ish. And the girl at the drive-thru window left the window open and it was like a circus was going on in there. I have never heard such crude, disgusting jokes being made and so loudly. I sat there on the phone with my girlfriend who could hear what they were saying, if that gives you any idea how loud they were. Then when I got my food, my fries were still partially frozen and the chicken patty in my sandwich was still partially frozen. When is the store owner going to get it through their skull that there is a problem that needs to be sorted out?

What is wrong with this location all of a sudden? Evening time I ordered a big order and everything was bone cold. I went back around and the shift manager gave me some "Should have asked for fresh" excuse. I don't think I'll be coming back.

I'm writing a review to pair with my friends that she just submitted. It's no wonder you guys will see an uptick in really poor reviews for this place and it's no coincidence that they're always mentioning that it's in the evening shift. Why are you guys letting such an immature, lazy person work in such an important position? This isn't the first time that I've had to go around to the drive-thru again to complain. This was her first time the other day. But I've had it happen a couple times. As you sit in the Drive-Thru it's actually become commonplace for you to see people get their food and pull into a parking space to check their food, and then pull out go around and be behind you waiting to get a replacement for their meal. This always happens in the evening shift. And I can corroborate that the other day I was sitting in the passenger seat and the manager flat out told us that it was our fault because we didn't order fresh. We shouldn't have to specify that when we come to a fast food restaurant that we want our food at least hot. Fresh absolutely is my preference, but it says a lot about the work that's being done behind the cash register that when I get the sandwich the cheese isn't even melted. It looks like it just came out of the fridge. What an absolute joke this place has become. No wonder the only time that you ever see people in the Drive-Thru anymore is during the day. The owner of this location needs to fire this manager and find somebody who's actually going to pick up the quality of the last shift of the day. Not to mention the fact that some of the reviews here say that they have watched the staff take their finger and put it in their sodas to make the Fizz drop so they can put the lid on? That happens every time I come in. Seems like something that they have trained their kids to do. And then I just tell them that I don't want my drink anymore and then they seem so offended, but it's because I don't want your nasty finger juices in my Coke zero. The quality of this place has drastically diminished. I almost wish that they'll shut down the entire store and replace it with something that has a little bit more self-respect to do a good job. And that's coming from somebody that's barely 21 years old. If we're going by age stereotypes I shouldn't care, but at this point even the Millennials are noticing. Even the Gen z's are noticing. Seriously, y'all have to fix something.

CHECK YOUR ORDER WHEN YOU RECEIVE IT! I Ordered 3 meals to go today. Was in a hurry to pick up spouse from DR. Got home and spouse and daughter were able to eat lunch. My sandwich order was not included so I went with out. Order #3115.
