The food was fresh. The people were really cool. Even the customers were friendly. Arletta went above and beyond to help me use my points off the app. ?

Let me start off by saying that I have always been a big fan of Cafe Rio from the beginning. I remember going to the first one, down in St. George, Utah back in good ol' 1997 or 1998. Back then, when you got a burrito, you could barely finish it!Fast forward to 2024.Portion sizes have shrunk! It appears they only give you a half scoop of rice, half scoop of beans, etc. You leave the restaurant hungry! The Quarry Bend location in Sandy (9320 Village Shop Dr) did the same thing, and I stopped going there. But now, this location at 1664 W Towne Center Dr is doing the same thing!I realize a business needs to make money, but cutting corners isn't the way to do it. Raise the prices if you need to, but don't shrink the product. If I wanted a skimpy burrito, I would go to Del Taco.I will give this location one more chance, and if the same thing happens again, I will have to look for a new burrito place.

Don’t get the nachos. Soup with five soaked chips. Would. Not. Recommend. This location is terrible.

Ordered an online to pick up, it was cold by the time I got home. Pork quesadilla was more of a tortilla with a sliver of cheese and pork. The pork tortilla was pure rice, they can definitely improve a lot.

Picked up my online order and was just about through my whole meal when I found a dead fly in my sour cream. Absolutely disgusting.

I tried the enchiladas and they were fantastic! Great Mexican food and the people there were very nice and accommodating!Vegetarian options: You can get different items without meat.Dietary restrictions: If you’re looking to get something low on calories there’s plenty of options there.Parking: Lots of spots openKid-friendliness: Gave my son a free nino quesadilla which was very kind of them!Wheelchair accessibility: I would assume it’d be easy to get food there in a wheelchair, wide spaces and paths.

The posted menu listed tostadas with your choice of meat for $9.19. add Elotes for $1.79. I ordered the Tostada. The 1st line worker listed all of the options and I chose the options l wanted. l also asked to add the Elotes for $1.79 and pointed to the sign. He said l would have to talk to the 2nd line worker about that. when the 2nd line worker asked which toppings l wanted, I told her "everything" "and the Elotes" as I pointed to the sign. When I got to the cashier, he charged me $10.19 for the Tostada, and $4.19 for the Elotes. I told him that according to the clearly posted signs, that he has over charged me $3.40. He explained that the menu was wrong, and he had to charge me an extra $1.00 for "choice" of meat, and because the line worker chose to put the Elotes "on the side" instead of on the Tostada, he had to charge an extra $2.40. and there was nothing he could do about it.

The line was pretty long waited for about 35 minutes. The special was shrimp tacos. They weren't very good but everything else they have there is pretty

I think the Mexican food at Café Rio is excellent. The queue moves quickly here due to the high volume of traffic. I adore their nachos and burritos. This restaurant is always worth visiting. You ought to use the rewards app if you haven't already. During ordering, I had a great time chatting with one of the staff members who was really friendly.

Worst food I’ve ever been served! I got home and the salad had soggy black stuff all over it and honestly was not edible. The queso looked like it had sat for a week in the cup. I don’t understand why they think this is okay! I’ve had several issues with this on door dash and so I thought going in to the store myself would help!I honestly will never go to any cafe Rio again! I now will only eat Costa Vida! At least Costa Vida provides a clean product!
