DP Cheesesteaks is a no-nonsense restaurant, which I appreciate when it comes to cheesesteaks. The menu is straightforward, perfect for novices in the art of the Philadelphian-born sandwich.I ordered the large Traditional Steak, and it was good. The jalapeno sauce is great (not spicy at all if that concerns you). Service was friendly, and there are plenty of seats for the traffic this place gets. They have Birch Beer, which I didn't try but seemed to really matter to those I was with.When it comes to cheesesteaks, Moochie's is more my style, but it comes at a higher price point and different vibe altogether. DP is very reasonably priced, makes good food, and will feel inviting and familiar to those in the Mountain West. I'd recommend giving DP a try, especially if you've never had a cheesesteak.

So ordered online and went to pick up my bread was soggy and there was no onions and where was the cheese? Won't be going there again unfortunately if anyone knows a good cheesesteak place let me know. I actually made my own sauted onions to put on my sandwich pretty much defeated the purpose of going out. ? I tried to post pics of this sad sandwich but could not

I’ve been eating at the place for years just recently went and was pretty displeased with my food came out very fast but was cold as ice and the meat was very chewy and cold unfortunate really like this place but probably won’t take my business

I've been to DP many times. I'm from NJ and have enjoyed delicious cheese steaks from NJ/NY and Philly. I can say DP is the best cheese steak I've had in Utah and could actually hold its own on the east coast. I wish they had some fries but otherwise I have no complaints. Hard to go wrong with good cheese steaks and birch
