Great portions! This spot is always busy. Expect to wait a little for your food or order ahead on their website. My go to is their carne asada or al pastor burrito. They have a sauce bar by the fountain drinks, lots of different sauces/toppings available.
I hadn't eaten a good authentic burrito in a minute. That changed today. I decided to try something new today and El Morelense was my choice. First thing I noticed about the place is that it was very busy during lunch time and how clean the place was. It also feels very open and welcoming. The staff is so friendly. Clean, new restsurant location. We sampled five different tacos: chorizo (had the kick I wanted), tinga, asada, pastor (best I've had in SLC)!) and suadero, Sampled three different salsas. I am a big believer in supporting local business owners, and this is a good one to support if your taste buds are screaming for tacos.
