So, I cannot vouch for anything other than the frozen custard. In this adorable classic diner, with people lined up to the door, when you try this treat you will understand why! My two favorite blends are the cherry chocolate chip and strawberry chocolate chip. You can taste the fresh fruit and it is blended so well. The service is as quick as it can be full of teenagers rushing your delightful frozen sinfulness to you as quickly as they can. It is worth the almost $8 per serving. Savor this gem!

Waited in line inside for over 30 minutes. The cashier was slow and cared more about goofing off with his friends and making funny names on receipts than taking orders. If I would have ordered outside I could have easily saved twenty minutes. Very poor service. The kitchen is chaos. No one knows what order goes to which person.

I would give 0 if it's available. Food is good but service is terrible. Stopped by to order a small shake for my son on a Saturday early afternoon, not busy time at all, and it took them more than half an hour to complete the order. The staff are not very efficiently organized. And this is not the first time this has happened to us. If you want more business, train your staff better and you really don't need that many employees in there. Less but more effective workers is the way. I used to work at a place similar and we handled large amount of customers during rush lunch hour with only 3 to 4 employees.

I'm not one to leave a bad review, but this was the worst experience! After 80 minutes we left. We did get our food, but it was cold. Never got our yogurt orders. We got 3 of our 4 soft drinks, after several reminders. Very Disappointing. One Star was high

Worst customer service we've experienced in years. We waited over 40 minutes for a custard that wasn't even made correctly. The employees seemed completely lost--one or two doing nothing more than rearranging fry sauce containers. Nielsen's custard is good. This location is a disaster

Spectacularly delicious. It has never let me down. I wish I could say the same about my stepdad but I cannot.
Nielsen's is just amazing. It's always a safe bet for food and dessert and has never let me down. The burgers are pretty average, along with the fries. But that custard is just beyond amazing, "like a bunch of little cookie dough men having a fiesta on my tongue!" Not only that, but the inside looks pretty cool. It's kinda like an 80's diner and just looks pretty retro. And finally, the staff was friendly and Nielsen's is located just across the street from a nice park, which is always fun to go to after you eat! Definitely go here, 9.5/10.

The custard machines are broken and cause nausea. It sounds like 10 washing machines. How the owners can have these machines going is a sounds hazard. Get them fixed. The wait is completely out of bounds. I've been in here for 20 minutes so far, for a hamburger. Why! Why do you put your customers through this. It's like I'm in the washing machine. No one seems to be bothered by it. The sound is getting louder. How is this getting louder!! Stay away from here. It seems the owner doesn't care about its customers. Never have I been in a restaurant with such a noise. The burger is not out yet. It's been 25 minutes. People are standing around, The food is here. The French fries are raw, but hot. No salt on them. Hamburger was ok.
