Best meal I had on my vacation to Salt Lake City. I was reading the reviews and got drawn in for the homemade Emanadas and Pasteles. THEY WERE SO GOOD! We ordered: - ham and cheese empanadas - beef empanadas - chicken empanadas - beef burrito - cheese and guava pasteles - steak burrito - chicken quesadilla
The best Colombian food I have had since Colombia and I've been to a few spots in NYC and my home state in Texas. The pollo menchado empanadas were absolutely delicious and made fresh with flavorful shredded chicken breast, and the ají was delicious too. For an entree I got the picada criolla with black beans and all the meats were made fresh and with seasoning, and it does come with a lot of yucca. The prices are high but the quality is a certain!
I love the empanadas here. They are always extremely yummy and fresh. They will make a smaller empanada for a party tray if you ask. Everyone will love you at the next pot luck if you bring these. I highly recommend their soups in the winter. They have the best caldos and I dream about them often because we moved far away and we don't get to have it frequently.
