"SAMANTHA IS A IDIOT!!!"

I'm going to tow truck driver and depend on Maverick and other gas stations for food during the night when I'm out working. Go into this Maverick at 10:20 at night. They've got the kitchen shut down grills cleaned off. Everything put up and no food out for nobody and the only response to anybody can give me is "I'm new." Horrible customer service and a horrible way to run a Maverick truck stop. Honestly thinking about canceling my rewards and just staying with 7-Eleven

As a driver it’s nice going to maverick for hot food, this place never has hot food ready. Been here multiple times, at different times and they just never seem to have anything ready.

This is one sad Maverick. Never has any prepared food. Worse thing is, its one's of the Mavericks you can get a truck into.

I go to a lot of Maveriks in the valley and beyond. I've been vegetarian for a little over a year now. Whenever I ask for a breakfast burrito or a bowl with no meat, no other Maverik has ever had a problem with that. They've always been good about it and charge me whatever they think is fair, and it's been a great arrangement. The manager of this particular Maverik claimed she couldn't not "ring up these items individually" and it would "throw off her inventory". Y'all can't pay most of your people a living wage and you're worried about a scoop of eggs, cheese, and potatoes in a burrito because of inventory? I'm pretty sure one scoop of scrambled eggs, potatoes, and cheese won't mess with your inventory so much that you'll lose more than a few pennies. 0/10 for this particular location. Everywhere else has been awesome.

KRIS! StOP STALKING PEOPLE. YOU MAKE PEOPLE UNCOMFORTABLE. YOU FOLOW PEOPLE INTO THE BATHROOM AND WATCH THEM WHILE THEY GET GAS. STOP DOING THAT. YOU ARE CREEPY. STOP WAKING PASSENGERS UP AND LETTING THEM KNOW THAT THEY CANT SLEEP AT MAVERIK AND TELLING THEM WHAT THEIR WIFE IS DOING! KRIS THAT WORKS GRAVEYARDS JUST STOP CONCERNING YOURSELF WITH EVERYONE WHO WALKS THROUGH THOSE DOORS. KRIS PLEASE STOP HARASSING PEOPLE ITS NOT OKAY.

Would give this location a five star review, EXCEPT, there is one employee who works at night and who has been there since I’ve been a customer at this location who always goes seemingly out of her way to be rude and disrespectful. I believe her name is Kris. Every interaction I’ve had with her behind the counter has been unpleasant and she’s always behaved as though she has a personal grudge against me. We do not know one another. I understand that this location is next to the jail and when inmates are released, this is usually their first stop to get cash, tobacco, and whatever else they want, so they do close off the bathrooms because of this, I’m sure. (This is what I was told) I am not one of those people. I work a swing shift at a company close to this location and often stop here after a long day at work to get gas, etc. I make every effort to avoid this employee when I do shop there. Sometimes it’s unavoidable. Most recently, she misunderstood what I was asking for at the counter and rang me up incorrectly twice. She then made it a point to tell me that I need to be more clear when I come in the store asking for something and this was said in a very unpleasant tone, with a very angry expression on her face, and with a hard nod of her head while she was saying it, as though she were suggesting that I did something wrong and I’m stupid for it. My request was for gas and $10 cash back. I was speaking clearly and directly at her. She just misunderstood the amount. Rather than just saying, “I misunderstood,” she told me “You need to be more clear.” I told her “Well that’s ok, but you don’t have to be angry.” She replied with “You don’t know me.” So I told her, “no, I don’t know you, but I’ve had several interactions with you here in the store and they’ve all been unpleasant.” She replied with something under her breath, but at that point I had disengaged. Every time I’m there, she’s making things difficult for the customers. I’ve watched her do it with others as well. Both people I was with and strangers whom I didn’t know. Good customer service is a hard thing to find these days, and some people, it seems, know this and are taking full advantage of this being the new norm. I just don’t see any reason to be rude to a customer at all, especially over something so trivial. The interaction could’ve been pleasant and I could have left with what I came for feeling good about it. Instead, I left feeling like I just shouldn’t go back at nights so I don’t have to see that employee again. This is most likely what I will do. There are other gas stations in the same area that won’t treat their customers with disdain. As a matter of fact, there is another Maverik about a mile East of this one. I’d rather give my money to someone with a pleasant disposition than to someone who is rude. Life is too short to be around people who treat others like this.

We’ve really grown to love Maverick Adventure Stations, including this one. Maverick allows us to dump our tanks on our RV / motor home, and if you join their frequent gas purchase program you can save a bit on gas. (About 10 cents?)While still a few pennies more than Costco fuel, I did the math and determined it wasn’t worth about $4.00 in fuel to drive to Costco to save about $5.00.And maverick is in several small towns, which don’t have a Costco. A bonus when you’re exploring in an RV. Thanks for the ability to dump our tanks, Maverick. We’ll return the favor by buying our fuel from you, as often as possible.

Don’t know how to call this actions that the employees made the other day to me, I was enjoying my chips and snacks after a long work shift and was asked to be kicked out not once but twice after I had just purchased and had grabbed a drink. Very rude people don’t recommend this place as friendly as everyone says!
