“Been going to 85deg bakery for years when I lived in other cities. The prices have definitely gone up which makes it hard to keep coming back. Prices for thier buns at this SLC location are more expensive than the California and Nevada locations.“

“This place is great, simply walk in and pick something as it’s going to be delicious. They were very welcoming, explained all the different kinds of treats I’d never seen and made some very solid recommendations. Get the Korean Donut, just do it!“

“The caramel filled croissant was so good. The perfect combo of lightly sweet filling and fluffy, but yet still chewy croissant on the outside... I highly recommend trying it! I also tried the macaroons and the sour cream sugar cookie, they were delicious as well! The service was awesome, but there's nowhere to sit inside, they offer outside dining and of course it was raining and snowing on the day I went.“

“I came in after a karate seminar a couple of weeks ago. I had been meaning to since I saw that they had opened awhile back, since I get to evening classes and feel hungry beforehand. Of course our karate master owns this building too, so I love supporting those businesses as well. There's a bakery area for to go orders and ordering, and a dine in side to sit down and eat, as well as chat with friends. I tried a chicken puff pastry and the Pan Queso y Bocadillo (so I had some protein and savory, and some sweet). The staff was super nice and answered all my questions patiently, while offering suggestions. The bakery was relatively quiet with just a few tables seated for lunch. A few more people came in while I was ordering. I hope they do well and stay around, so I have a yummy place to visit when I'm hungry during karate.“

“Overall recommended sit down if you have some time at the Salt Lake City Airport. - cute little sit down in the Salt Lake City Airport - good food (maybe except the steak medallions) - pretty good dessert, had their cheesecake with fresh fruit, no complaints - excited to try their actual restaurant outside the airport - service was standard - burger was excellent - steak medallions were pretty tough“

“I came to Cakes By Edith for the first time and it was an amazing experience! The staff was really attentive and nice, especially Diana. She made conversation with me and it felt like we were old friends catching up. Absolutely love the atmosphere not to mention it smelled delicious and the bakery was very clean!! Would definitely recommend this place and would come again!!“

“Great service. Nice and approachable. I generally don't like these types of bakeries because I think all the pastries look good but they then are dry and not sweet enough. But these were good. I had a braided pastry with nut and cream which was good. The tres leches cake my husband had, (he said) wasn't that great. But we got a great deal on a bag of pastries.“

“I continue to support this establishment because it’s vegan and the pastries are delicious, especially the chocolate, almond, and ham & cheese croissants. That being said, the service could use improvement and prices are high, even before the mandatory 18% tip they add on, including for takeout.Edit: Changed my review to reflect what must have been a miscommunication regarding the refund policy if their staff mixes up the order.
