We arrived on a Thursday evening for dinner. There was live entertainment. The wait staff was knowledgeable the menu items and even checked with the chef for our in depth questions. The food was good. Each dish had an Asian twist to the flavouring. We had theBeet Salad - golden beets, blood beets, smoked herbed goat cheese, arugula, black pepper oil and pistachiosCorn Fritters - fire roasted corn, cotijo, chorizo oil, chili aioliMahi-Mahi with pistachio hummus and choy sumPan de Alote - creamed corn trife, cojeto, tres leche, passion fruitCharred Pork and Noodle Salad - rice noodles, carrot, cucumber, mint, basil, cilantro, peanut, bean sprouts, greens & a spring rollSego Noodles - rice noodles, lump crab, vegetables and scrambled eggs.We thought the corn fritters were dry and too crisp (aka overcooked). However the table beside us highly recommended the dish to us. ??‍♀️

The corn fritters are a must-try, bursting with flavor and perfectly crispy. Save room for dessert; each sweet indulgence is a work of art, taking the dining experience to new heights. We ate here 5 times over the course of four days. Breakfast: the hash is excellent. The omlet is a very large portion, so if you’re hungry it’s a good choice. The steak and eggs were cooked perfectly. All the ingredients were super fresh and we felt as though we ate healthy for every meal. For dinner I would recommend the sirloin tips and beet salad. The food was prepared by someone with culinary expertise without question. Service staff was top notch.

*AMAZING* it’s been over 1 month since I stumbled into Anthera for my birthday weekend and decided to eat there every night of the trip. The restaurant got a new chef this year and apparently really turned things around (explained why medium ratings did not match my 5star experience). My mouth still waters at the thought of the corn fritters and chicken ranchero. Please open an LA location!

Marvelous dining experience! We learned that the restaurant changed management last Fall, and the on line menu (and reviews before that timeframe) do not reflect current status. The current menu is more interesting and less expensive that the on line version, as of the date of this review. Service is fantastic, food delicious, portion size ample, atmosphere perfect and prices reasonable. We ate there twice and will be back!Vegetarian options: Several vegetarian optionsParking: The restaurant shares parking with the hotel.

Below expectation. My dish arrived much earlier than my husband ordered. Poor service.

We stayed here for spring break 2024. We hiked Zion for a week and tried most of the restaurants in Springdale. While this was early in the season, Anthera was the best spot. I would recommend both dinner and breakfast. I would also say that the location close to the Zion park entrance allows you to walk to the shuttle bus in the morning which is a huge advantage.

The food is very good and you can walk to the park from here.

The kitchen dropped our ticket and it took over an hour to get one of our main dishes. Four in our party had completely finished before the entree arrived. It was excellent food, and our waiter was amazing, which saved the day, but the kitchen didn't time our plates well at all.

While exploring Zion, we stayed in Springdale for 2 nights in early March, 2024 and Anthera was the only place we found decent food in Springdale. We had beet salad, crab appetizers and beef sirloin, everything was delicious. The service was great! Dave, our server was super courteous!

I ate here twice during my stay at Cliffrose. Both times the food was absolutely amazing. I'm still thinking about it even days later! The first night my server was phenomenal: he was attentive, professional, and I loved his recommendations. The second night my server seemed a bit more distracted: she only came to my table to ask if I received my food but nothing more, and wasn't able to answer a couple simple questions I had about the menu.Even still, I would go back and I'd definitely recommend it.

Anthera is a really cute and cozy restaurant in Springdale. The inside is beautiful, with a fire place and classy tables and designs. The waiters are world class and extremely professional. We really appreciate all of them; they were extremely kind and helpful. You will receive world class service at this restaurant. TAs for the food, that is a different story. The menu is designed to be ordered 2-3 items at a time to be shared between 2 people. However, the menu is not very expansive and there are not many options. For the options they have, they taste pretty good. The caramel shrimp was absolutely delicious; it basically didn’t even taste like shrimp. It was very tasty! The potatoes, however, were not that great. They were hard to chew and the flavor of wasabi threw off other flavors. Without it, it would taste amazing.Overall, we liked our experience. Just wish they had more, tastier options to choose from.
