The steak has lots of untrimmed unchewable fat/tendon whatever it is. For the price I think they can do better. And please stop looking at how much tip the customer is giving when paying, ruined an otherwise good experience.

Fabulous food with beautiful presentation!Great service - our server was wonderful. A real treat to eat ‘farm to fork’ with excellent menu choices. We had the trout and the wild game meatloaf. Vegetable sides were perfect and very creative. Don’t forget to ask for the bread! Also the view is spectacular ?

My husband and I ate dinner here while in Springdale for the night. We had to wait maybe 5-10 minutes for a table outside which was totally fine. Our server was great and the staff overall were very efficient and kind. I had the drink special (White Linen I think?) and it was superb. So refreshing and tasty. For an appetizer we had the smoked trout was a meal in itself (highly recommend!). For dinner I had the purses with sage butter- SO GOOD. The pasta was homemade (as is everything at the restaurant) and I cannot recommend that enough. My husband had the chicken mornay which he raved about as well. For dessert we had the cheesecake- best we've ever had. Our server told us that the restaurant has been open for 40 years, the chef has been there for 32 of those years and that most of the staff have been there for many years. Clearly they are doing something right! Cannot recommend Spotted Dog enough! We cannot wait to come back!

WONDERFUL restaurant! Truly one of the best salmon meals I’ve ever had. My husband had the shrimp pasta and said it was great too! Kohl took great care of us and made our dinner a memorable experience! Loved it so much going back tomorrow!

We had our dinner here. Food tasted really good. We tried their salad, red trout dish and kids meal. Price is not that much reasonable but if I consider the ambience, service, food presentation, quality and taste it’s justify the price. We were there 10 minutes before their closing and stayed till 9.40PM but they didn’t give us any vibe that we should finish our dinner quickly. Servers are really good at their job.

I ordered the Ahi Tuna meal and it was done perfectly and was very tasty. My husband said his meatloaf dinner was excellent. They also make good cocktails & coffee drinks. We sat outside. My only complaint is that the outdoor seating is terribly uncomfortable. My husband and I both thought so. Otherwise it's a great place

Our server Kohl was excellent. The food offerings are varied. The Ahi tuna was a little overdone. My trout was delicious. The vegetables were undercooked. Hopefully the kitchen gets better before high season and the influx of tourists. We *loved* the signature cocktail!! ? My big gripe: it’s impossible to make a phone or in-person reservation. Book online and options are limited )seating times and location).Edit (in response to the restaurant)- I will be more specific: I walked by at 4 pm with no active cell service I decided to knock on the door and could see several staff on-site ‘no one’ would talk to us or come to the door. I finally spoke to someone on the back patio and he said to call. I walked back to my hotel where I had cell service and called numerous times between 4-5 pm and no one picked up or called back. I got a call back about 5 minutes before my reservation. We arrived and the place was not busy. Basically not full (I assume they are spacing due to kitchen capacity). But this all adds up to the fact that you have a captive audience… and this is considered a high-end restaurant in the area! Sit on the back patio if you want to dine outside.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free items are noted on menu
