I ordered several items for me and my kiddos. Vanilla Decaf latte was hardly sweet and tasted burnt. Kids hot chocolates were weak in flavor. Mango smoothie tasted of poor quality. Bagel and cream cheese was average. I won’t seek out this chain in the future.

Upon visiting Beans and Brews for the first time, I was hopeful for a small quiet cafe/coffee shop with my favorite Carmel Mocha with whipped cream and a healthy & tasty breakfast sandwich. The atmosphere was definitely pleasant with booths and small tables. The lighting was dim enough to sit and enjoy my coffee for my early morning wake up, and it was not too crowded. Upon greeting the gentleman at the register, letting him know this was my first visit, he seemed happy to help me order the coffee and custom sandwich I was craving. However, after that, I was left standing at the register waiting for my requested receipt and further inquiry on where to pick up my order or if they bring it out to my table. Another employee that thought I needed to order answered my question and gave me my receipt. After receiving my coffee I found a comfortable booth to try out my new delight. The Carmel Mocha was delicious! However, I never heard my sandwich order called out and after waiting a bit, I looked over to the counter to see it sitting there. After retrieving my sandwich, I was greatly disappointed with its presentation. I ordered the ham, egg & cheddar croissant with guacamole. Although, the ham, egg, cheese, & guacamole were tasty enough (with a little added hot sauce), the croissant was super dry and smashed to pieces. Maybe they were trying to smash the croissant into the guacamole to soak up some moisture, but it only made my sandwich impossible to eat without it making a complete mess of guacamole and croissants pieces oozing out all over my hands. I searched down a fork and knife and after removing what was left of the smashed top croissant, I was able to eat it. It would have been a perfect sandwich if the croissant was fresh and fluffy, and a little less guacamole. I will try them again and request that next time.

The location at Riverside and Mall Drive is awesome. Great team working there. Always greeted with a smile and the coffee is great. Enjoy visiting this location. It's my new regular "go-to" spot. Bluff street location excellent as well.

For some unknown reason, got a lecture on what skinny means.Waited another 10 minutes for a ham and cheese croissant.All in all? Not too impressed. Not unhappy, just won't go out of my way. And another place that wants a tip in advance for counter service. Not impressed.

April 21st, 2023- Ordered 2 B-Meat free sandwiches which always come with avocado yet neither of them had any avocado on them at all. I had already bit into one of them which is how I found out, I hurried back to the shop to tell them and they said they would just slap the avocado back onto the sandwiches which I thought was awkward but I told them one was already bitten into and if they could possibly make a new one and just slap it on the one that was eaten. Once I pulled up to the window, one of the workers offered one of the avocado packages and a butter knife explaining that she had forgotten to add it, I told her again if she could just make a new one and just add the guac to the other sandwich even though I honestly feel like two brand new sandwiches should have been made. This was a terrible experience and while I still like this place, this is a story I'll be mentioning to others.

I just went there about 20 minutes ago. The girl who took our order was EXTREMELY unprofessional, I asked for something that I get all the time and I love it, she proceeded to argue with me going the rounds saying it's too sweet (I like super sweet chai's so I was completely aware) she kept arguing, and when she finally just did it she refused to be polite about anything. I finally got to the window and had just spilled all over myself so I was trying to wipe my hands off before I hand her the card so she doesn't get sticky. She then rolled her eyes at me after I apologized and explained. When I go to the other stores no one batts an eye, I've never had someone try to argue with me and tell me it wasn't going to be a good drink. I know what I'm getting when I give you a specific order, please don't try to correct me or tell me your opinion when I didn't ask for it on MY drink. Long story short, I will not be going back to that location ever again.

I've only ever had the coffee (Carmel Cielo), but today I tried their new plant based energy drink. I come in 6 flavors (I think, or 7?). I got the sparkling Gold Rush. You can also choose blended and whipped (with creme) high caffiene so I only got my Cielo half caff. The cold energy drink was so delicious, I might even stop drinking coffee all together! I drank the Gold Rush too fast for a good picture. Go try it out!!
