Usually a great place. One of the employees was a little out of sorts, for some reason, so his attitude came through. Otherwise, good as usual. I especially liked the option of shredded chicken. Most places offer either beef or pork. So the chicken was a nice change.

How do I begin......I used to love this place, but this was it for me!I went in an hour after opening, and they were out of chicken, black beans, and chips.The one server that takes your initial order did a great job of trying to fill orders and smile, but that support staff to keep things replenished was an F.My food containers had food smeared on the outside, making it a mess once I got the food home.Oh, and the queso is suspect at best. It used to be the best in town, and now it takes like it's made Velveeta (no offense if you like Velveeta!). But, Costa Vida's queso is waaaay better, in my opinion.Anyhow, in my opinion, Cafe Rio is not the place to go, maybe the back up to the back up to the back up.

I didn't get a receipt, so I can't share my feedback on Cafe Rio's website. This location is really slacking on service.Generally, I like to get curbside orders on days when I'm not feeling well. The Cafe Rio app allows me to place curbside orders at this location. But the last two times I've done that, they haven't brought it out to me. I'm sitting in my car waiting (as the app tells me to "sit tight" because they'll bring it out to me), but meanwhile the staff apparently have no idea my order is meant to be brought out to me or don't care.Last time this happened, they were majorly backed up on orders and I had to call Cafe Rio to get them to realize that my order was a curbside one (which they did finally bring out after an eternity of waiting). This time, however, I waited a bit and suspected that they weren't going to bring it out. I went inside and what do you know, I found my order in the pick-up area. I also left without getting my drink (likely my own fault--again, not feeling very well) so I didn't get my entire order. Which *wouldn't have happened* if they had just brought out the order like they said they would.If this location doesn't do curbside orders, that's fine. But don't PRETEND that you do and leave me waiting minutes on end while my food sits there getting cold.Not happy with the service here. Please fix this.

Save your money!!! Do NOT EAT AT THIS CAFE RIO!! Not clean, not fresh food, and not ran efficiently. They were out of everything when I came in and ordered. I mean everything. No beans, no rice, no grilled chicken, no guacamole, no house dressing and no tortilla strips. Management is embarrassing and should be fired! They also charge you for random extra food that you didn't get so make sure to check that before paying!! My entire experience was a nightmare!

Is there a ZERO STAR OPTION? Ordered food on the app, showed up at “pick up time” waited another hour past “pick up time” then they “run out of quesadillas?” Terrible service, maybe 5 workers in the whole place, 1 worker doing all the mobile orders by themselves? Pathetic! Spend your hard earned money somewhere else and get better food anyway. This is my last time EVER going there, unfortunately this isn’t the 1st time this has happened at this place, I’ve had this same experience before, this will be the LAST TIMEI EVER TRY! Totally unacceptable!

So beyond frustrated.It is extremely hard to get my daughter to eat.She finally agreed to eat Cafe Rio tonight, stood in line, just to find out that they were out of their fire roasted meats (steak being what she would eat).Ended up leaving.Any parent that understands this, I would not recommend going here, or order in advance.Will never return here again.Please put something on your door, before we stand in line. I could have talked her down, and have gone somewhere else.Thanks.
