Menu at the restaurant is finally great. Porkchop is superb and the dinner salad is always fresh. We didn’t need any but, you have to ask for bread. We were very happy. We ate here a few months ago and it was horrible. We are very pleased with this menu!!!

This is an incredibly beautiful location. The golf course is spectacular. Very nice accommodations. I rated the room only 3 stars because there is very little noise barrier between studio unit and one bedroom (TMI to post). There are only enough place settings for 4 people and glassware set is incomplete. A little mildew brewing in the bathroom. These units with the high rental cost and the $28 resort fee should be in better condition.

The location for Entrada at Snow Canyon Country Club is simply stunning and breathtaking upon first glance. This place has extensive facilities for residents and guests alike, with a resort like feel. Two years ago we had booked The Inn at Entrada, which is simply marvelous (more about this in my separate review on the Inn's page "The Inn at Entrada"). Unfortunately the entire golf course was going through a complete re-design and apparently was complete April 2022. We noticed there was a golf promotion going for September, and figured it would be a perfect opportunity to come back and relax, and for my husband to finally try out the golf course. Turns out the pro shop had a promotion running while they were doing repairs on the golf course and no one could book during that time. I'm kind of perplexed on why the pro shop would run a promotion when they weren't allowing anyone to book.We ended up having to completely switch around our vacation and book over a month later to be able to book any golf tee times. Even still, tee times were sparse - turns out they only have 4 tee times per day for non-residents and it's only mid day. Tee times are only for residents and guests of the Inn. Golf is closed on Mondays and you can't play the first day of your reservations at the Inn. I was hoping the worst was behind us.. unfortunately it was not. Good thing I called closer to our visit date, because they had changed the tee times around on us. I had to make 3 calls and one send e-mail to the pro shop to finally get a confirmation of times as they had never sent me the e-mail confirmation in the first place. On the first day of golf, the tee time was moved back 10 minutes, no big deal. They started my husband out with his own golf cart (I might add their tee times include a cart that you pay for as part of the price), only to tell him to hop in with another gentleman at the start of the game (and move all his gear over). My husband and the other gentleman were paired with complete golf novices, who were not prepared to keep pace with the game. The group ended up lagging so far behind because of the couple they were paired with (the novices), that the ranger came out to give them all grief. Unfortunately the ranger did nothing to assess why the issue was occurring, but rather it just made for a hostile environment. Pace of play is really fast, this is not a course a novice should attempt. Unfortunately even if you are a good player, you may most definitely be paired with someone who is not due to the lack of tee time availability. On the second day of golf my husband asked to play alone or at least with a separate cart to avoid the same situation that he had experienced the day before. Apparently Snow Canyon doesn't allow such things in spite of having what seemed like endless carts on standby. Seems kind of absurd to pay for a cart and have to share with a complete stranger. The other problem lies with how the course sets up tee times for non-residents, they put you mid day. There are no exceptions to this either, and the staff spent their time rushing everyone around so they aren't in the way of the residents. While I understand the residents are top priority, there's nothing worse than feeling like a second class citizen when they charge the same as every other course in the area. Also, having the staff spend more time ensuring guests are enjoying their stay would be helpful also, but that is clearly not the priority here. The course itself was in playable condition, but still appears to be under construction in spite of claiming construction was complete in April 2022. There are many holes with incomplete areas, landscaping that is still under construction, and really rough spots throughout the course. The best part of the course believe it or not is the practice area, which is extensive. The actual 18 hole game play left a lot to be desired and not only felt rushed, but the whole experience felt poorly organized. I now understand why everyone we speak to says Black Desert Resort

Only played golf, outstanding course.

I’ve traveled the country and have never stayed at such an overpriced horrible place. The pool for 3500 homes is the size you would find in a standard backyard. The casitas that cost an average of $500 per night have smart tv’s that aren’t smart cause you have to have the remote for the tv (not the universal cable remote) for it to work. The cable only works on 7 channels the “free” Wi-Fi sux depending on which unit (townhome) you’re in, you probably can’t make phone calls and you better be quiet after 4pm cause your shared wall neighbor is 80 and already in bed sleeping. The wonderfully gated communities… will let you in once to check in. God forbid you have more than 1 car or show up any time after hours or forget your code.. cause the remotes don’t work and the guards are… minimum wage… you can’t get “housekeeping” and not the sarcastic funny kind. I literally mean we’ve stayed here for a week at a time and unless we call or stop by the office the trash continues to pile up and we don’t get clean linens or towels…at all.My in laws (sadly) live here part time and the HOA fees are Astronomical. Considering what you don’t get. And I’m sorry but golf is just not that cool in 110 degrees. I would say arguably but there’s no argument.. this place sux. I can’t wait for the Marriott 200 yards away to be done. At least their stuff will work, they will care about their customers and I’ll get points..Rooms: Average appearance

Dinner was fantastic. The service was top notch. We saw the most beautiful sunset I've ever seen over the golf course! Truely a breathtaking moment. Highly recommend.

Very “meh” experience of the golf course - would recommend against at a $200 rate, especially after already lodging. Would play Sand Hollow over and over instead. 5 HCP, played from the II tees - didn’t feel any of the magic I hoped for out of a DMK renovation. Greens were the best part, no qualms there, but fairways were frustrating - a lot of them felt like “fug” with poor turf interaction, others were sandy - maybe dealing with some issues following the renovation. That said, views were mostly of houses, never felt like the course could get away from them, traffic, or construction, and the overall flow of the round was jarring with 3 holes (15-17) in lava rocks (thought I’d found my way onto Black Desert by mistake), before switching back (18) for a forgettable finish well-removed from the club house. A rare time where I played well and quickly and ended up not liking the course. Again, would look at other options and not be coaxed into lodging just to play here.

So... we stayed there a year ago. we checked in, and got settled in and we noticed some dishes were missing particularly the cups and glasses. When we opened the dishwasher they were in there however looked like the dishwasher hadn't been run. We pulled out the cups and glasses and looked like they were really dirty. We called in for service and within 10 minutes someone showed up and surveyed the situation. Withing 30 minutes after that she returned with an entire replacement for ALL items including pots and pans, utensils, cups, glasses, plates and cooking utensils and full knife set. WOW that was awesome service!!!The TV really needs updating. it is NOT a smart TV and the cable service is average. It does have HBO but it's not the FULL HBO channel lineup. I would rather choose to stream however not possible with the TV's in the suites. I had to hook up my laptop to view a movie on the TV and that is not very practical in 2023.. just saying..Moving onto the pool area, there was some trash on the deck and I pulled a cup from the bottom of the pool. The pool was clean but tiles in the pool are falling apart, and there was a bee mass around the bushes right next to the pool. The jacuzzi was clean and all pumps worked well and temp was about 102..The staff at the counter were very nice and professional and the inside locker room and bathrooms were very clean. Love the music that is playing inside and wish they had music playing outside as well. The pool closes at 8pm and for a large resort and pool area it should stay open until 10 or 11pm. there is no lifeguard on duty so it shouldn't matter to keep pool open past 8pmThe big disappointment was the golf course. it was not in very good shape. Also, we didn't know but resort guests cannot book a tee time until after 12pm. I guess I missed that in the fine print. Also @ $240 per person this course is going to have a hard time to compete with Black Desert. the staff in the pro shop was a bit rude. We were the only people in the shop and almost only people playing golf and the guy yelled out at me to tuck in my shirt... A true professional would have approached me and asked me to tuck in my shirt in a professional manner. Another thing, no food services were open at all on Sunday. No food or drink cart, no grill or restaurant services at all.. The cool thing, you get a bag tag, ball marker and divot tool before you start your round. The course appeared to be dry, and greens were punched. We were charged full price and nothing was mentioned that the greens were punched. The cart we were in also had regulator issues, it was at full throttle cutting in and out. Never had this issue anywhere else. All in all this is a great place to stay, however it is starting to show its age. The beds were soft but comfortable. Shower is awkward but worked great. All the appliances worked perfectly. We brought food to cook and used the kitchen just like it was ours. The garage is nice for a midsize SUV or car but a full size truck is a very tight fit. We decided to extend for an extra night and in the morning we went out for a hike at a local park and when we returned the key didn't work. the front desk person apologized and fixed it right away. when we returned to the room there was a roach in the kitchen, it was on it's back and almost dead. No biggie, after all it is the desert...Like everywhere else, there is good and bad however my biggest disappointment was the golf course as mentioned in my review. I will never play golf at entrada again unless I am comped for a round. Well if anyone has questions please post them and I will make sure I respond as quickly as possible.

Place is like a prison, can't even get in to drop parts off to someone. Due to having my kid with me.
