Best Pizza place in town. Just wondering what happened. Is this place ever coming back?

Everything here is GREAT! The service and the food are all wonderful. I ordered soup, flat bread, salad, hot cocoa, pizza and bread. It all hit the spot. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Pizza is good. Nothing special but not bad. The crusts are soft so that is a personal preference on what you like.I dislike how much throw away plastic they use. It makes the place feel cheap and just isn’t environmentally responsible. If you are going to do throw away cups why not paper at the least?

Pizza & piegas, salads & sandwiches, desserts & drinks -- all done in-house "from scratch." There's also a rotating selection of artisan chocolates, gelatos, and baked goods. Chef Devon is conversant in every aspect of culinary arts -- the whole café is a mélange of "classics" and the innovative & eclectic. This isn't a typical pizza joint, it's the result of the studied & sedulous love of food.

We had a big group work lunch here, they moved tables together for us, very accommodating for our group. The food is amazing! The pizza crust is awesome from wood fired brick oven. The bread is homemade for sandwiches, and comes with different dipping sauces. The tomato basil soup is delicious. The lime Ricky, homemade root beer were great, but top drink was iced cocoa! It’s cold brewed over cocoa beans for 24 hours! It’s the perfect blend of rich chocolate and cream and just the right sweetness to it. One of the best cocoa type drinks I’ve ever had. They try to use as many local ingredients as they can. The staff is outstanding, barista explained all the drinks to us. I will definitely come back anytime I’m back to St George.

This place is awesome! Everything on menu is homemade. Pizza crust is excellent from wood fired brick oven. Tomato basil soup is wonderful. Bread for sandwiches is homemade. The drinks are terrific. We had lime Ricky, and homemade root bear, they were great, but best one is a cold brew cocoa that brews over cocoa beans for 24 hours. It's the perfect blend of rich chocolate and cream with just the right amount of sweetness. The staff is also great. They use as many local ingredients as they can and everything is made in house. I will definitely come back when I'm in St George.

This place is amazing! Love the wood fire pizza! They make in house gelato! They also make made to order classic drinks such as Lime Rickey, cherry lime rickey, strawberry lemonade! Delish! No soda machines here! The handmade desserts are amazing! Just an awesome place! Go check them out!

Honestly I'm disappointed. The flavor is bland. When this place was called Vuduu pizza with previous owners, my god the pizza was amazing. I thought it would be the same pizza just different owners and a new name, I was wrong. For 30$ this was not worth it at all. To top it off it was cold when I got home and I only live 5 minutes away. I'm sad. Vuduu pizza used fresh mozzarella and this cheese is depressing.

I love Onyx Cafe! The owner and employees are the best in town and the food is amazing. EVERYTHING is made from scratch…even the mayo and dressings and so flavorful. I’m a regular and love stopping by for a yummy meal. My favorite this week is fresh, homemade pumpkin bread with chocolate chips…I am heading back for another slice ;) great place for lunch, date night or better yet cater for your next party or wedding.

Pizza was greasy and undercooked. When I posted this review on another site the owner responded I didn't know what true Italian food was . I've had wood fired pizza plenty so I do know what undercooked tastes like. Salad was average and nothing special. Felt the pizza was over priced for the quality.

The staff were nice but the girl making the specialty soda had a shirt with holes all over and no bra. Not the most family friendly uniform. The sodas were very good and cool ideas. The pizza took 45 minutes and there were only 3 other tables occupied when we ordered. The pizza was good not great. I wasn't super impressed. Many better options in town.

Great little cafe to eat at. Pizza was delicious and the drinks were fantastic. A couple things to note though. If you go make sure you're willing to eat outside or take it home, they only have 2.5 tables inside the cafe and those spots can fill up rather fast. Also make sure you know how much you are going to drink. Their root beer, while made in house, costs a little over $2 and is only about 10-12 ounces with no refills. Their other drinks like their iced tea comes in about a 16 ounce cup, but still has no refills. All in all spent $23 on 2 drinks and 6 slices of pizza and was pleasantly surprised by it all. Great atmosphere, great food, maybe not the best price, but to me it was well worth it.Will add as an addendum, when me and my wife went into the store and asked about refills we were told if it wasn't busy they could do refills for free however if they were busy they would have to charge for them. The reply to my review states that they're supposed to be free all the time so I'm not entirely sure how that functions but it is information worth noting at the bottom of my review just in case.
