Had an amazing breakfast with my friends. Service was great and the food was amazing. So sad to see this place go..

Food is tasty! I had the half pound chicken fried steak and eggs. The hashbrowns were nice and crispy, steak was thick and the breading was flavorful. Eggs were overcooked but not to bad (it was a little busy and it happens). Food get 4 stars. The service was not great. The hostess was very nice and took my drink order (coffee and water) and delivered it as well (5 stars to her). The waitress was not great. She took my order and I never saw her again till she dropped off my food and again when she dropped off the check. I waited for the better part of 30min for a to-go box that never came. I had to find someone just so I can pay for my meal. My card sat on the table next to the check the entire time. The other thing that bothered me was that my waitress was in the kitchen being g very vocal about how rude and mean the customers were/are. Now, I am a very nice person. Please, thank you, yes please and no thank you-- are a regular part of my life. Having been a server before, I know what stress some are under and I would always be forgiving of poor service under certain circumstances. This was not one of those times. There was another waitress who had accused a bus boy of potentially stealing a $10 bill. This happens, but that is a conversation that should not be taking place within earshot of the dining room. That was very disappointing.I would come here again....for the food. Not the service

Food was great! I had the chicken fried steak only complaint is they were a little cheap with the gravy and condiments(to-go order)

Very fast service and the sever knew our order without writing anything down. My group and I were taken care of to the highest standard. Great quality food, would definitely come back for breakfast again.

Staff are nice and the food is awesome! The pies are AMAZING and fresh, the lady manager is always sweet to us and is very friendly, the food is always top quality and prices are reasonable, wish they still had the free slice of pie deal on a Wednesday that they used to do! Servers are always great!

Good food. Reasonable selection. Not a hype place and mostly reasonable prices.

Disclaimer: I am taking into account that my experience here was during this "covid pandemic," and I fully understand that restaurants are doing the best they can with all the arbitrary restrictions being placed on them. I also like to leave positive reviews as much as possible when they're warranted. That said, throughout our time here there were maybe 6 tables (including mine) with groups ranging from 2 to 6 patrons in the entire restaurant. Some came in before us, some came in after us. There was nobody waiting in line for a table while I was there and it definitely wasn't busy even considering the covid restrictions on capacity. My group consisted of five. We also went there on a weekday morning not during rush a hour time. Service was inattentive and took FOREVER! Server didn't even come to our table for over 30 minutes. Very disorganized, we had to ask for simple things like napkins and creamer multiple times. Groups that came in after us were waited on before us and subsequently ate there food and left before us. When we finally got to place our orders it took over an hour for our food to get there. I was ready to pay for our beverages and leave to somewhere else when our food finally came to our table. Some of the dishes were warm, some were cold. We are from out of town and had to get on the road so we just ate it and went on about our business. I don't want this review to bash the restaurant. I just hope (if they see this) that they take it in, address it, and better themselves moving forward.

Disappointed with Village Inn today. Did a take out order and tipped 20% (I hate having to tip before hand but try to be nice in these times). Went to pick up order and called, it was busy so waited awhile, called again, then just decided to go in. Went in and talked to lady at front who said they were 'just packing it up' yet looked for the receipt with our name on it and then went and took it right back to kitchen. We waited 15 mins (which was now 25 mins after order was to be ready) and went to go back in and she was bringing it out. Now our fault, we should've checked to make sure it was all there but after waiting that long with a screaming baby we just wanted to go home. Anyway, two of the meals were missing key components plus we ordered (and paid for) extra hash browns we didn't get. Who wants to eat biscuits and gravy without the meat patty and gravy? Let down for one of those times you wanted the food.

Food was good. Went for breakfast with a large group and service was excellent. Restaurant was clean but bathroom needed maintenance. Plenty of parking.

The staff was very nice and the place was clean. The chicken fried steak was the worst I have ever had. I think they need to find a new supplier on meat.
