Disclaimer: I really love Chipotle, so keep that in mind and this review.We were excited when this new location opened, but there were some struggles in the beginning, seemed to always be out of one thing or another and employees were very unsure what was going on. But our last two visits have been amazing. A couple weeks ago we ordered online through the app for pickup and surprisingly everything turned out just as we had ordered and didn’t skimp on the portions either.We went back again tonight and there was a gal managing, she went above and beyond to make sure that everything worked out great. My faith in this location has improved, I’ll keep coming.

By far the saltiest food I've had in a long time. Portions were extremely small, usually a bowl is full, this was maybe half. Obvious this location is struggling.

Much improvement since they first opened. I went here a few times when they first opened and they had some growing pains. However, I went in during lunch today and it was much better. The steak tacos were great and the chips were much better. Plus, it was very clean and sitting outside was great.

Third time at the Syracuse location. I love the chicken bowl at the Layton location. However we have been severely disappointed in the Syracuse location and honestly even though it's close will drive to the Layton location next time.The first two times the meat was so dry and such a small portion we ended up throwing it away. I thought it must be because they are new. Now however it's been long enough they should have worked out all the kinks. Ordered the same chicken bowl and the meat is still dry, small potions and cold. I really wonder if they are usuing yesterday's meat.We really wanted to have a nicer place to eat in Syracuse other than fast food but unfortunately this is not the place. By the look of how empty the restaurant was at lunchtime I'm assuming we aren't the only ones who have had a bad experience and they probably won't last long here.

The kids working here wont care about others people time, no steak ready nobody cooking all talking and wasting time, one person on the bar serving food taking over 10 minutes talking with clients….

I'm glad to say that we were very happy with our experience at Chipotle's this week. We went in around 8:00pm and the restaurant was very clean. I ordered a chicken burrito bowl. The ingredients were fresh and the meat was cooked correctly and well seasoned. The employees were polite and remain engaged in their work, even during slow periods, throughout our visit. Great job!

Chipotle is a chain so I’m not gonna go talk about the food because those who get it get it and those who don’t don’t. Imma pop off about the service. These employees are so beyond nice. They are super friendly and do not skimp on any of the toppings. My husband accidentally ordered all the salsas and spiced himself out but after explaining to the employee he happily remade his food without salsa. They laughed about it with my husband and he had a fun story plus I went back the next day and the same amazing employees were there and provided amazing customer service. 10/10 recommend.

This was my second time ordering! Super easy and fast with the drive up option. My only complaint is once I opened my food it was a mess and was more soup than food… had so much liquid i don’t know if it was sauce or what but my food was floating in it…. Not appetizing at all.Vegetarian options: Veggies or vegan meat

*I would suggest anyone with continuous negative reviews reach out and submit feedback to Chipotle as many times as they feel necessary. Obviously the owner of this location is doing nothing to improve it. Look at the reviews, nothing has gotten better and it’s a waste of a business*I am a very religious Chipotle customer and was so excited for this new location but if you guys are going to manage a drive thru then you need to MANAGE it. There should be no reason that a car is waiting for their order with a line of cars behind them that have gotten a notification their order was ready 30 mins prior. You guys need to have a holding stall so EVERYONE else in line can grab and go. Waiting 30 mins in line for an order that is ready is crazy and then for your girls in the drive thru area ignore me when I go in and flash me a look asking for help. I was nice at first until she ignored me. I understand this is a new location but let’s use our brains a bit. I will continue to go to the Layton location.And on top of that just like everyone else we get our food home and it’s too salty to eat or enjoy. With how many complaints there are about this idk think the owner would implement some changes lol

I don't mean to pile on to some of the other reviews. I was excited to have another food option in Syracuse. I've been theretwice and got the barbacoa bowl both times. It wasn't very busy but both times they were almost out of the barbacand and scraped the bottom just for me. The first time I asked them to get a new tray which they did.The second time I think I got a smaller portion because there wasn't much there. There is a huge difference in quality versus a fresh portion.They also didn't tell me that there was a $2.80 upcharge for guacamole. I asked the manager about that and she says that corporate actually tells them not to tell you about upcharges so I guess they're all about the extras. Will be a while before I go back. I hope they turn it around .

I should have read the reviews before I wasted my money. We ended up throwing almost all of our food away. The food was cold and quite frankly very unappealing. I was ordering and mid order they started taking care of the person behind me and ignored me completely. The shift leader was testing the temperature of the food while her employees struggled around her. I was so irritated when I left. I should have left when they ignored me but I didn't want to be rude. I should have followed my gut.

They need to start training people better or firing people because the last time we went, the rice was crunchy. This time the food was SOOO salty and the fajita veggies had either the wrong seasoning or just so much that it tasted soo weird. My husband agreed. It’s disappointing because we typically like chipotle and wish we had a good one close by…..
