My Strawberry crepes were delicious and my daughter's skillet was wonderful too but her french toast had a hair and I asked for sausage and got bacon. Other than that everything else was great!

We came to once again try out somewhere other than Dee's,It was a pleasant and welcome surprise, the inside was not crowded which was a great thing. It picked up after we had been there for a short while.We ordered drinks which were brought out immediately and kept topped off and full. Looking at the menu trying to decide between having Breakfast or Dinner took a few more minutes.My Wife ordered the made to order Omelet with pancakes. I ordered the Chicken fried steak and eggs- over medium with hash browns and pancakes.Her meal was cooked perfectly and she loved the pancakes and coffee as well.My meal was great, hot, and the sauce for the Chicken fried steak was very good and didn't taste like salt which was a relief, the hashbrowns were crispy and the eggs were just right.Our waitress was Jody and she was awesome, it has been so long since we had been somewhere to eat where the wait staff did their job well and plain and simple knew how to do their job well. I would go here again at a drop of a hat, especially if Jody was there.

Sassy was our server, and she was the only server that night, and she did a great job. My drink was never empty, and any additional sauces we asked for, came quickly. The food was hit, portions were generous, it was all really good. I'd come here over Denny's or IHOP anytime.

Food was great, order was right - which was great because there were three plates with special instructions like no onions. However, service was rough. There is a pretty small crowd at Village Inn on a Monday night, so there is no excuse. Our waitress (Ri-Ann from the receipt) was pretty friendly and brought drinks quickly. We waited a while to order food, which is frustrating with the lack of crowd but not that big of a deal. The issues started with our waitress bringing our bill BEFORE our food! It’s very rude first and second we’re at Village Inn - the home of incredible pies! Once food was delivered she forgot quite a few requests like syrup, ketchup, and butter. We left a smaller tip than we’d normally leave. But I believe it was a fair representation of the service.We are still lovers of Village Inn and will be back.

They saved the day when I could order our office Thanksgiving lunch from them. I'm quite familiar with this particular restaurant since it's been the scene of post-wedding lunches, Christmas evening dinners, and so much more. The one caterer I tried to book for lunch gave me bad info so I couldn't order per their bad instructions. I was able to call the Taylorsville restaurant and they saved our lunch. The order was ready and the military discount helped so much. The turkey and its gravy was a hit among those who ordered it. Thank you Village Inn for more memories that come from food associated with you all.
